Got a call (telemarketer or bill collecter noise in background)Hey is Dan around?I am trying to get ahold of Jeremey.I got a call from a bill collector a while ago who got  very beligerant when I refused to give out a personal cell phone for my brother in law.I believe this to be the same people calling they just left word that mona is trying to get ahold of him.from an arizona zip code to wisconsin

Some one just called my home and left a rude message....they need to learn people skills and positive communication skills. maybe some one will actually return there call...not

Those idiots did the same to me.  I reminded them of the harrassment laws and she promptly hung up.

My wife received a call this afternoon, 4/21/11 claiming she needed to pay off a debt from many years ago and demanded a credit card number.  My wife had no knowledge of this debt.  He claimed his name was Tobias and gave the extension x8523.

I'm assuming it's a scam because when we called back, some girl called and answered with "hello."

I had a message from Nikki with this as the return call number. The funny thing is that she said it was about a job application I sent, which I know is a flat out lie! Watch out, these people are obviously not above lying to get you on the phone.

They may be running several scams on this phone number. Employment scams (where there is *NO* job) include but are not limited to:
1. Victims pay $$$ up front for required crap like uniforms, certification, background check, 1/2 airline ticket, etc.
2. You don't quite qualify for the job but are counseled to go back to school (scammer gets paid on college referral).
3. You are offered an interview and find out later it's a no-salary, commission-only, you-pay-expenses, perhaps-MLM sales job with poor leads.
4. Your job as financial agent is to receive checks, cash them at your own bank, and Western Union cash away (checks will bounce).
5. You give your personal info because you believe you are applying for a real job which can lead to ID theft.
6. You are offered crap that's totally unrelated to looking for a job like surveys, etc. that the caller will earn $$$ on.
REMEMBER -- THERE IS *NO* JOB, I.E., NO SALARIED POSITION.

Actually this is a number you might want to call back. They are contracted with the US Department of Education and your wages could be at risk for garnishment.

irecieved a call and was told they they do investigations and when I said I dont see the indevidual I was told thjat I aint hurting hiom that I am hurting the person they are looking for . And I want to know if this is some kind of federal agents.How is it that they can threaten aint that illegal?

This number is for ERS.  They are contracted with the Feds to collect on overdue student loans.

Received a call at work from Mr. Morales 602-424-6438 He said is is investigating a person in my company that allegedly works in New Orleans LA. Must be a scam. When I called the phone number the voicemail says Mr. Black is unavailable.


Can you say CREEP! I would like to meet this person.

This is not ERS the company that collects on loans! I rehabilitated my student loans through Education Recovery Solutions. This is a creepy scam. I also received three calls in a matter of a few minutes from "Mr. Morales" it came up as blocked on my caller i.d., then he was super weird and kept saying how he needed to discuss sensitive information about my social security number and even read the last 4 digits. When he wouldn't say up front what he wanted I hung up. Then he called back three times! Finally he left a voicemail and left this as the return number and just kept saying my office instead of an actual business name and said I could speak to the director Mr. Black
If a debt collector calls and leaves a voicemail they are legally required to read out fine print saying "this is an attempt to collect a debt bla bla bla if this is not so-and-so, please hang up, personal information bla bla bla" before they can even say anything.

Mr morales said on the phone that he spoke to me 6 months ago, and then in his voicemail said that I called his office three months ago. This is just a tactic to get you to start talking to them.
I called the number back and it was some ghetto sounding girl who said "hello"

Not a legit business!! Hope nobody is dumb enough to fall for this crap

I got ahone call from the same company threatening to take me to court. funny this is when i got the phone call from a woman named shirley temple i thought it was a scam, so I called the number and when i did no business name was given and the woman I spoke to started to get really obnoxiously rude to me on the phone! I have no clue what to do or how to approach the situation but I refuse to allow a company like this to scam me or talk to me in the manner that they did!

"Nicki" called  called my brothers girlfriends phone asking for me by my first name saying she was my niece, even called me "Aunt". No one in my family calls me by my first name and there is no "Nicki" in my family. I called the number she left on a friends phone. I asked who she was, she kept asking for the phone number that the message for me was left on, I refused to give her the information and she refused to tell me who she was and got snippy with me, I hung up. Creeps!

This company is associated with Enterprise Recovery Systems and they collect/garnish wages for Dept of Education for defaulted student loans. You might was to call them back if you want to save 15% of your paycheck...don't beleive me read sec 18 of your master promisary note.

I got a very harrasing call from this number trying to tell me they were a federal agency and demanded I give them my banking info. I hung up on them.
