No idea who this is, but it is an automated voice, and they have called twice

I also got an automated voice. you have to press 3 if its not you. (I just got a new phone number.. must have been a bad choice of numbers for me)

I pressed 3.. they connected me to an operator after 3 minutes on hold.. The operator asked me if I was the person and I replied no, that I had just gotten the number.. he said, ok, thank you.  thats it.

they called me on 7/15/08 @ 7:21 pm.  I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.  Call ID indicates "Progressive Fin".  
I can't wait for them to call me again, so I can inform them I am on the DO NOT CALL list, and will be reporting them!

I'm NOT the person they are asking for and have told them repeatedly.  I don't even know how they got my number.  I am getting "no number" calls frequently and am pretty sure it's this same number but with caller ID blocked several times a day.  When I first answered the call, the guy was rude and wouldn't listen.  I don't answer anymore.  They've left a couple of incomplete messages that were a recording asking for that person.  I read Phantom's (7/30/08) suggestions, but I don't want to waste my minutes speaking with jerks who don't listen.  Any ideas?

The number is for Progressive Financial Services in Tempe, AZ. They are a collection agency.

Collection agency, calling our company for an employee who has not worked here in 5 years. They still keep calling after all that time, and will not listen when you tell them to stop. (I've tried, repeatedly, literally for years)

They continue to call me from different numbers. Debt collectors I read. I'm 18 and don't have any debt, let alone a credit card of any sort. Hope they stop eventually.

Don't give these people squat. They are non-professional,rude and ignore the basic rules and regulations the FCC has in place to govern bottom feeders such as this. Would suggest if you have capabilities to record their recordings or perhaps a live conversation with one of them, do so. Then send a registered letter to them requesting for them to stop calling you. Send a copy of that letter and recording(s) to the FCC. The FCC does not have an in-house enforcement dept. to handle these type of complaints, but do forward them to various investigative parties when enough complaints are made and are blatant disregard for their rules. Sumbag companies like this have been sued for harassment successfully in the past and past court rulings and cases are available on the FCC Website. Don't let youself be intimidated.

address is 1919 w fairmont suite 8 tempe az 85262. they sent me a letter saying that i owed Cox Nevada-Las Vegas $28,729.00 and that my last payment was on 10-22-1961 the problem,,,,, THAT WAS 7 YEARS BEFORE I WAS BORN!!!!!! not to mention Cox wasn't around then either. called them up and told them what monumental fools they were, then got the number for Cox Progressivesaid that the bill was wrong and it was a miscalculation, i owed $287.00 then proceded to ask for personal info. i told them to send the new bill to the same address. Lol they don't even have that. with a mistake of this magnitude i will ignore all future contact!

I received to phone call from 602-453-8899. There is an automated message from a woman with a British accept phone calls like this. NO LIVE PERSON WHEN I ANSWER? NO INFORMATION GIVEN. I hang up immediately. I wish to be removed from their call list. In the meantime, this number is now call-blocked.

This number has been calling me several different times in the last couple of weeks, First calls for a Pam, informed them they had the wrong number after several calls for this person they were suppose to have removed our number. Started getting calls again from them for my husbands ex wife, once again told them they had the wrong number, then the caller said she was removing the number then came back asking me if I was Brandi and using my old last name that I have not been for several years and the best they wanted me to verify me social security number with them. When I refused the caller got very mad at that point my husband took over the call and they would not speak with him.

They called my cell phone and then called my home phone- which is my parents number. I have never given my parents number to any place I have done business with. I'd assume they are scoundrels because they can't call numbers I've never provided to the company they are collecting on behalf of. Which is interesting because they also wouldn't tell me who it was for. SCAM

Called and an automated voice was asking for someone I had never heard before. Said they were a debt collector called Progressive Financial Services.

I also just now got a call on my home line and cell phone. I called my service provider and had a block put on them. $4.99 extra a month, but that's okay as long as it keeps these idiots from calling my cell phone!

This number keeps calling me a swearing at me and cussing me out for no apparent reason.

They are calling my 9 year old son's phone - who clearly doesn't have credit nor any outstanding bills!

Have told them 2x this is a new number for me, no longer for who they seek. STILL they call 2-3x a week. Thank God for Droid Block.

Yes,I get these calls myself,all the time.I am praying they will catch these people and put a stop to this.We have no private phones anymore.I do report this to the "DO NO CALL"list,but they seem not to do anything about this, I see.I don't even like Politicians to call me ,all the do is put down on others. I don't blame you,I try not to answer my phone when I see this,let my recorder do the work for me.They have nothing to do with there time but to agitate people,I pray for them and laugh at them.
