Harrassing phone calls from collector trying to collect on a five year old parking ticket. Company contacted me six times in five days after first notifying me that I had an overdue parking ticked from five years earlier.

Progressive Financial's calls have nothing to do with me. How does one stop these automated calls? On Saturday mornings, it's annoying.

I get several calls a week from this number. I used to answer them, and nothing would happen. i have answered this call at least a dozen times, and never has there been anyone on the other end of the line. i have not even been sent to a recording, although i assume if i hold for 30 seconds or so, that would happen... I did get a call today (Saturday morning) @ 8 am, and was not too happy. I am glad to see that someone else, found out about this number, although i do not know of any parking tickets that are outstanding...

they area a debt collector. I called them back cuz the machine made no sence.  They said we owe them some BS debt... They did say what it was as it want for me, it was for someone else in my house.

if you ever get a person on the phone and tell them that your not who your looking for or the bill doesnt exist they will well at you like some [***] did me and well this is a refusal to pay this is not good bla bla bla bla bla.. i told the [***] to go [***] a goat and i didnt get a call for a week then low and behold the calls started again.. i switched my phone number and 3 days later the calls started on the new number, how did they know me new number? point being DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE A DIME its a SCAM!

SCAM SCAM SCAM.. THEY WANT TO FOOL YOU INTO THINKING YOU OWE MONEY WHEN YOU DONT,, WORST SCAM IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!

I got the same call on my answering machine... with the name so muffled that it sounded like mine. The person calling was "Cathlene Brooks," she didn't even leave an extension for the call-back. When I called back they told me they were looking for someone that wasn't my exact name, and then said that my phone number would be removed from the system, and it could take up to 48 hours.

Guess what? 72 hours later and almost everyday after, I am still receiving the calls. Upon calling back again, the lady on the other end was incredibly rude, and trying to get MY personal information. I stated I don't feel comfortable giving my info out to someone I have no connection with and she keep saying that how could she know it's not the person they are looking for without my info?  Upon answering a question very very partially to try to stop this whole thing, I then said that I don't feel they need anymore info than that to prove I'm someone different, she said "Yes, we do, good-bye" and hung-up on me.

If this was a REAL debt collector going after legitimate funds, would they be hanging up on the people they are trying to collect from???

Called back again to speak with a Supervisor since they pissed me off royally (named Erica/Erika) She was even ruder - but did state they took my number out of the system (again) and that a NEW person may have tried to handle it before and that's why it was still in the system. God, what a run-around. They try to get you to feel like you do owe something and that you are the one in the wrong.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFO TO THESE PEOPLE!

This 4804538901 number called me at 10:30 in the morning on a saturday and it was just some guy laughing then he hung up. I have previously received calls from this number indicating it was progressive.

Calls recieved twice a day with no one their. I have no conection to this company nor do I have any debts. Its now 30 days with no letup. They have been advised that I am not who they are looking for. I retired to Phoenix 3 years ago from Houston Texas.

I've been getting calls from them too for years now asking for someone named Virginia.  75% of the time they are hang-up calls.  Does anyone know where their offices are?  I'm about to go there in person and do some damage.

These are by far the most corrupt pieces of crap to ever hold a phone. First call from them, They tried to pass them selves off as court officers from The Phoenix Municipal court telling me my license was suspended fro the last 12 years and that I needed to pay them over $1200.00 . I contacted the Phoenix Municipal court, They knew nothing about it. I really wish The attorney Generals office would step in and stop these scammers.

I would really like these calls to STOP!!! ANYONE HAVE AN SUGGESTIONS????? I DONT OWE THEM ANYTHING!!! When i talk to them they can provide me with a bill or statement... What should i do!!!

Debt collector harassing for an unknown debt.

I complained to the AG office. These people gave me a case number that did not exist and the court told me was invalid. They said that they are an agent for the Phoenix Court. I had to call them out to get them to say there are a collection agency. See below complain to AZ AG office

This company has repeatedly called regarding an unpaid parking ticket. During the time they say I had the ticket I was only 15 and did not have a car or license. They would not send proof of this, and gave me a case number with Phoenix court, I checked and the case did not exist. I believe this is a SCAM. These people are calling and trying to get money, while claiming that they are an agent from the Phoenix Municipal Court. They also stated that if I did not pay that my drivers licence would be suspended. This was over the coarse of three phone calls from the above number.

Just got a call. Canned message said "If you are [Hispanic voice saying something garbled], press 1, otherwise press 2." I ended call then dialed number - 1/2 hour of listening to "agents are busy" message, so gave up.

Company was told that ticket would be paid.  Calling two to three times a day, every day.  Harrassing.

This number has been harrassing me too. I saved it in my contacts under collector/telemarker and just dont answer. Eventually they stop for a couple weeks then go back to calling. They've been buggin me for 2 years. Its stupid because I have not debt owed to them.

I live at my boyfriends house and it keeps calling his number, and he says its a collection agency looking for someone who does not exsist.

I am glad to read that I am not the only one to be harrassed.  I have stopped responding to the # 602-453-8901.

This is a legit collection agency called Progressive Financial. I did not pay a parking ticket months ago and Phoenix Municipal Court referred my unpaid balance over to them.
