Nothing on Voice Mail.

Called me 3 times today, they say it's an important message for someone whose name I never understand.  If this is not you, hang up now.  But they don't stop calling.  Really annoying.

Updated: Called them back and it's a collection agency.  I told them to take me off their list and they hung up on me while some guy was screaming in the background

called and asked for my wife... wife at work... then this person said she was Shannon Miller from Phoenix... I told her I didn't know her and she claimed to be friend of my wife's... wanted to know when my wife would be home... told her after work... she then asked for her work number... I told her I wasn't giving out my wife's work number to someone I didn't know... she then replied that my wife knew her... told her that we had been married many many years and I had never known my wife to mention her... then she wanted my wife's cell phone number... again I told her I wasn't going to give out any info... then she asked me to give my wife her number 602-453-8906... I called wife at work and asked if she knew anyone in Phoenix named Shannon Miller and of course she said she didn't have clue who was calling.

Collection Agency specializing in old student loans.

i got a call from this collection agency located in Phoenix AZ - they were very rude and angry!!!  I am going to report them to the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Hotline!!!

I think they operate as Progressive Financial Services (PFS).  But contact the FTC and file a harassment complaint ASAP!

I worked for the company a few years back, they dont just collect on student loans, it varies, it can be anything from child support to back taxes

She called me and tried the same trick..She is completely unprofessional and a major B*tch. I don't see how this collection technique is legal.

Call from this company for wrong number regarding a collection matter.   They call over and over no matter how many times they are told it is the wrong number.

I have a son in law who is a student. He used us a reference and this company, progressive financial services, keeps calling at least three times a day trying to collect. I have call block on my phone and they are blocked on several phone numbers. They always seem to find another way through. The student is not delinquent on his loans, he is in a doctorate program and does not have to pay until he is done. Until then I don't see any end to this, they are quite persistent.

They keep calling saying that they are trying to collect a debt. We advised them to call no more, that they will be fined for their harassment. My husband, Stephen is disabled and they take up precious phone time when they call. We live on a "below Poverty" budget and it is causing us great distress, both financially as well as emotionally and physically.. As he can barely move to have to answer the phone call. Please do something about this.  I am in tears every time they call to harass, as we are both extremely ill. They also threaten and use bad language when he has answered.  Please help us. We have nothing and are just trying to get by the best we can. My husband, Stephen is a Vietnam Vet and surely does not deserve this kind of harassment. Please tell us the best way to handle this. We have blocked that particular number, but they do use others. We have asked them to not call again... PLEASE HELP US!! I'm about ready to have a break down over this. I spend every day being my husband's care giver and I quite honestly CAN NOT take anymore... Please help us with this matter... Thank you.  Mrs Karla Mallen

The caller does not identify themselves other than saying that they are trying to collect a debt. When they called at 2:30pm Arizona time today, the man on the phone used foul language and was extremely threatening to my husband. By husband explained that he is disabled and to please not call again, but the caller threatened to keep on with the harassment and went further to say that "they would Hunt Him Down"...
