I keep getting calls from this number and just hear a busy signal.  When I called back I just an automated message that my call could not be connected at this time.

Did you find out who or what this number was about?

Says some bs about"this is in regards to your employment" .  I'm not employed so I know it's a robo-fake.  It's a spoofed #. Also been getting calls from 0117 prefix.  Which would be Russia.

Caller ID says Phoenix AZ, didn't answer.  First time I got a call from this number.

As usual, another caller who says nothing about anything!  Someone who probably thinks he/she is doing this for something to do to occupy their dead mind!  By the way, to all of you who may have gotten calls from a company called, Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC, I contacted the Arizona Attorney General's office about the mentioned company.  The A/G contacted them and in short order, they have since stopped harassing me on a daily basis.  If you contact the A/G be very clear in your complaint, including times and how often they called.  As they A/G office says; "The afore mentioned company violated the Consumer Fraud Act and the A/G informed them in no uncertain terms; anymore complaints from this individual, be assured, we will see you in court"!  It works!  Just to let you know that sometimes utilizing the state system of justice can bring positive results!

The caller called - I answered. "Hello"... nothing on the line. Then they hang up.  How stupid is that?  There must be a reason for them calling. Maybe to ascertain if someone is home?

Or looking for live numbers, which are as good as gold to telepests. Could be a computer calling or they may not have anything to say. You'd be amazed at what just answering your phone can do for them.

602-454-0297 called my LL 8/10/15 12:30 pm (AZ MST) did leave msg on ans mach - pitch 'free!' Medical Alert,  Rx discount card etc. (no mention of charge for monitoring med alert ...  )says stuff all paid for by ... whoever they are (started pitch before ans mach out msg ended so missed start of spiel = no real loss)

Received unsolicited call on my landline about 20 minutes ago, CID was "Unknown Name". Didn't recognize number, didn't answer, no message left.

Caller ID reported number from the Phoenix area. Long recorded message about installing a free Medical Alert system at no cost. This is a known scam. After the 'free' system is installed there is a large monthly fee for the service. If you say you won't pay and ask them to remove the system, they charge 500 to 800 dollars to remove their free system. This scam has been reported in the papers for over a year. Do not 'confirm' your shipping address or they will sign you up to the program. Don't give them ANY information. They call themselves the American Institute for Aging.

Recorded announcement for 'free' medical alert pendant and discount cards for senior citizens scam.

They call me daily, multiple times.  Supposedly from "USA Alert Systems" about a "free paid for medical alert system and free paid postage and free discount medical card."  Free my a%^!  "Joseph" that sounded like he was North Indian couldn't answer where they were etc, "I will remove you from the system and sorry for the inconvenience."  I gave him a slew of colorful words and blocked the #.  It is a spoofed # out of Phoenix, AZ.  602-454-0297 is the # they used.

I get calls from this Phoenix number 602-454-0297 sometimes more than once a day.  The answering machine picks up and the caller hangs up.  Wish I knew how to block it.

I have received three calls from this #. One for employment opportunities, and two for a medical alert system for my home. So, which are they? Maybe they hire you to install the medical alert systems? Either way, it's a scam robo-call. They do find out who has active lines if the calls go to voice mail so they can sell your # to other scam artists and robo-callers.

3rd time this # has called.  Did not answer they did not leave a message.
So sick of these calls.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry and that doesn't stop them.

I am disabled and it takes awhile to get to my phone. When I do there is no one on other line. I try to call back and get busy signal. Very frustrating😬

Didn't answer the phone when this came in because I didn't recognize the number.  After reading the other comments, I'm glad I didn't.  They did not leave a message.

Another call this morning. Same everything, no message left.
