I had the same experience as A Bart, except that I didn't answer and I called back. The lady said the same thing about the $500 gas card and $25,000 insurance policy for idenity fraud. She explained everything, the charges, sending me stuff in the mail and the one time charge of $6.95 to get started. I told her don't send me anything (They had my address and city), stop calling and don't charge anything. She proceeded to tell me about how identiy theft is the biggest problem in today's economy. I said I realize that and this is probably one of those calls so please don't call again and don't send anything and she hung up.

Scam Scam Scam, they ( 520-829-5487 ) want your identity.

I had the exact same conversation with a the woman who called but somehow she knew the last four digits of my debit card!! How did she get that??? I told her I wasnt interested but if they have my card number whos to say they wont debit money out of my checking account??

Call Center in Az... calling for several company's ...trying to get information on you ...say its a thank you call for Master Card.. etc

They keep calling & will not stop. Almost the same that she can lower my interest rates on my credit cards .. SCAM!!!

This number called and did not leave a message.

This number just called me a few minutes ago.  I am sick of it.  Just before that another number, 803-675-7659 called and also did not leave a message.  I don't pick up calls on my cell from numbers I don't know.  It has gotten so bad that I changed my outgoing message to say that and that if they keep it up I will sue for harassment.

Pam of "Consumer Advantage" called earlier today, I called back and then was told that I was being moved up to "Preffered Consumer" for a MC I had and for some reason, they wanted to give me a gas card and talk to me about identity theft - makes no sense. I knew it was a scam, demanded their physical address, Federal Employer ID, and website. They had no website, would only give me a P.O. Box address (P.O. Box 1144, Mission, KS, 66222), didn't even seem like they knew what a FEIN was,  and the rep's name was supposedly Pam.

I reported to the FTC and am also pursing it further. These people are cowards and need to be caught.

Have been getting calls from this number and 313-483-7154 today - both are reported as scams by other users of 800 notes...

Got 4 calls in 2 days from this number.  Never left a message and dead air on voice mail indicating it was an auto dialer.  They can get the last 4 of your account #'s through a credit report, so don't fall prey to them and give them any information.  They are using deceptive means and should be shut down.

Oh yeah, they are from Litchfield Park, AZ (near Phoenix).

2nd call from the number. no one talked though, my name must have not been on the screen yet!

Just randomly got the call.  Traced it to AZ.  Seems like a recurring problem.

I called them back. They get your # from companies that you do business with on the internet. Basically READ the FINE PRINT. Companies you have made purchases with, sell your info to these guys who in return call you to try to sell you Identity theft insurance.

This number called me seven times in one day and never a voicmail. They said somthing about being on the premiem list and they were going to send me a bunch of free stuff for keeping my card in good balance. He thought he was doing good untill I told him I don't have a credit card or debit card and he hung up.

Called and tried to sell me some hokey stuff. Really not cool

These idiots called me five times and never left a message.  I researched the number on the internet and knew it was a scam.  So I finally picked up the last time and told them I knew all about their scam and said "goodbye"  I also filed a complaint with both the FCC and FTC. :-)

I got a call from this number while at work told the lady I was too busy and she keeps calling me at work.  I think im gonna mess with her see how long it takes her to hang up.

I've been getting 3 calls a day for the past week from this #. They just don't stop. I've answered maybe 3 times and every time its been silence and they hang up.
