This is from a company saying we have been qualified for a modification on our Equity Line of Credit Loan from Chase Bank. There is no way to leave a message or answer them when they call. The funny thing is our house is in foreclosure and will be sold at a Trustee Sale at the end of the month!! Very annoying!

My house is foreclosed, too, and this company left a message to contact them for assistance. Uhh, too late and wouldn't want help from someone I don't know. See ya!!

They call almost every day, but never leave a message.  Probably unwanted solicitation.  Can we get them on a no-call list?

They call daily sometimes several times a day and won't leave a message and if you answer you get a message and are put on hold for an extended period of time.

They've been calling me periodically claiming I am prequalified for a loan modification with my CitiMortgage account. Ironically, we tried modifying with Citi. It took us 9 months to finalize the paperwork and we were ready to close the deal when they sold our mortgage to another company. Nice try though! I've had so many attempts made by identity thieves that I am always skeptical.

They have been calling several times a day for the past few days and no message is being left.  I suppose that it is not that important.

To DF did you by chance ask CitiMortgage about this number and company?  I am receiving the same voicemail regarding my CitiMortgage account.  Just curious if they told you anything about this number.

It's an automated call. they got our number from citimortgage, saying we've been pre-approved for blah blah blah. When you call the number back, it's a very automated voice that says "Thank you for calling us back." They give you an option to take your name off the call list by pushing 2. So I did. Hopefully the calls will stop.

Looks like I was next on their list, only 24min after hidlb. They're calling on my cell number. Using the Samsung Galaxy S phone and just put them on the "Reject List." Will let you know if it works. Suppose if you don't hear back it's good news. no news = good news.

So sick of these spammers calling my cell phone. Blocked one of the numbers and now this one has started it... UGH!!! This is harrassment!!!!!

For those citimortgage customers. I started receiving these calls while dealing with citi on a modifcation. It took 6 months for the modification, but was finally completed.

The strange thing was that everytime I talked to the citi folks at one particular extension, within an hour these people would call... never leave a message. I reported this to Citi and they told me straight up that they do not have anyone outside citi doing modifications for them.

Other places say that these folks are scammers looking to take advantage of someone who might be desperate to modify their loan.. do not fall for any of it..

Citi does not use outside people and I would be willing to bet that the other big ones don't either.

So far today this is the fourth time that they have called my number, most not be too important, they do not leave a message.

You're fortunate, it took us 11 months to finalize our loan mod with Citi.  Meanwhile, they were reporting us as delinquent to the credit reporting agencies because we were paying the lower payments set forth in the agreement with them.  UGH!!!  I hate banks.

Anyway, our loan mod was finalized last July (started the August before), and these calls started about 2 weeks ago.  I hate phones.

Let's all go live in caves with no closing costs and no utilities!!!

Stop calling

Hi-
I have been receiving calls from this number also.  4 in the last hour (2 on home phone, 2 on cell).  

I did a loan modification with CitiMortgage about a year ago, finalized in June.  Then my wife stopped working and we could not afford the modified payment.  Any chance they would want to lower even more?  Personally I would like to keep the house, but I cannot afford the payment.  I'm tempted to talk with them, but I'm afraid that they're looking for clues to see if they have a chance to get me paying again.  Oops-there the phone rang-I'm pretty sure it was them again...Thanks...

I have pushed 2 at least a dozen times and the calls DO NOT STOP!  I had FIVE of them yesterday.  I actually pushed 1 to speak to someone and was on hold for over 5 minutes, no one ever answered.  I have been recieving these calls for more than 2 months now and have reported it to the DO NOT CALL VIOLATION website at least 3 times now.  Nothing makes them stop!  Since it is a 602 area code, now I'm going to try the Arizona Attorney General's office!
