received a call on my cell I did not anwer, they did not leave a VM.  I called them back and someone with a very heavy Middle-Eastern accent answered and would only give his name - he refused to ID where he was calling from or why he was calling, other than it was a "financial institution".  I asked if it was a bank or what type of financial institution and he hung up...

I have received a number of calls from this number.  They call at odd hours and hang up without leaving a voice mail.  I finally called the number and they identified themselves as MRS Associates. A web search shows that they are a debt collection company.  I finally spoke with someone with a heavy accent.  He was looking for someone who is not at this number and said that he would remove it from his list.  I hope that this is true.

Received several calls over a couple weeks... each time stating they were an arbitration company trying to clear up a debt.  I have zero credit card debt and told them the first time it must be a mistake.  The second time I told them again that it must be some mistake but they said it was probably a case of identity theft and regardless it would be on me to clear the amount owed. I told them to send me a notice in the mail and the caller said that she would just have me served and I would need to go to court to clear it up and then she hung up.  Two weeks later I got another call and when I told them that they must be a scam since this was now the third erroneous debt they were contacting me about, the caller got abusive, claiming they weren't a scam, that they were trying to save me from being served with court papers at my home and have to go to court and then hung up.  I called the company back and told the person that answered the phone that I was not to be contacted again by phone, that all contact needed to be through the mail and she got abusive, yelling how I was the scammer because I don't pay my bills and she didn't care what I wanted, they were trying to do me a favor and then hung up.  I called back again and no one would answer the phone. This is a total scam place.
