have called us numerous times even after asking them to stop.  When you ask them who they are they hang up on you if you are not the person they are calling for.  My husband has asked them numerous times to stop calling him and he is not interested in their opportunity

Recieved call from 602-513-8500 and the lady asked for me by first and last name. I politely asked, "May I ask who is calling?" the  lady just hung up. If they do not intend to state who they work for or their name then why bother calling me? I have better things to do like stare at 4 walls.

They have called several times - just told them that I have filed a complaint against them & next step is going to be calling a lawyer.  Told the girl that my number was on the do not call list & I did not fill out anything wanting them to call me.  She asked when they last called, told her just now that I couldn't get to my phone & was calling them back to warn them to stop the calls.  She was RUDE!  We will see if I get anymore calls.  The girl that answered the phone when I called back was the phone operator - I could not understand her when she said the name of the company.

I get calls from this number sometimes on daily basis to my cell phone! I started getting these in November of 2011 and I answered First question was if I had a credit card and interested in business opportunity. I said no and in first place one don't pay for legitimate business. From then on continually calling and I am on Do Not Call List... I have gotten 8 calls in a day from this number! I wish they were shut down. I don't take their calls and they leave no messages. I guess I will report them to FTC again!

I received a call from this number and the lady told me that an old man just retired from my area, so now there is a spot available. She said that she was affiliated with Visa. I let her carry on. She put me on this recording to tell me about the company. Sounded like a scam. I hung up. There job must really suck.

I received a call from this number and the lady also told me that someone had retired from my area.  I didn't have the money $199.00 in my account.  I told her to call back Wednesday.  Thanks for all the input. It looks like putting them on the do not call doesn't work.

Yep...I got a call from (602) 513-8500, the same scammers yesterday and just listened to their pitch for about a half hour to an hour, just long enough to make sure I was wasting their time.  They tried desperately to get my credit card information after saying that they would reduce my over all cost from $995.00 to $495.00 one time processing charge that would not be charged for 30 days after joining their VC Merchant Systems affiliate site.  They said that they wanted to get a representative in my area to go around to various businesses to get them to switch their payment systems to VC Merchant Systems and that I would make a commission on every terminal and sale from that terminal.  I told them I wanted to check them out before accepting anything over the phone and they kept being pushy wanting to sign me up to be their representative in my area.  Then finally, a third person came on the line and was being just as pushy and gave me their website info as www.vendordchoicemerchants.com and discovered that that domain does NOT exists.

Moral of the story and food for thought.  DO NOT ever give out your information to ANYONE that (initiated) called you on the phone, more than likely they are a scammer that is trying to separate you from your money in some form or another.

Very similar story. Recieved a call from 602-513-8500 asking for my mother, who has been deceased for some time. Any call to cell phone asking for her is an automatic scam, based on previous experiences she had with fraudulent telemarketers and advance-fee fraud operators.

The pitch started out claiming that they are with Visa/Mastercard/Amex/Discover, that a rep in "my" area just retired and that there is now a slot open. They ask if the victim is interested in making money from home

These people are promising their victims a guaranteed monthly income of $5,000 for 6 months, plus 50% of the processing fees after 30 days. They claim to be able to reduce merchants' credit card fees to 1.5% down from 7%, and the victim would get 50% of that.

Then they cut to the chase and say that the merchant license is $995.00, of which they will pay $500.00 (which the victim never needs pay back) and the remaining $495.00 is deducted from the first commission check. However, at that point they begin pushing for the victim's credit card number. At this point I terminated the call.

They provided a toll-free number of 866-311-0703, which is answered by "VC Merchant Services."

This is a very smooth scam, please warn your loved ones about it and teach them *never* to give credit card or banking info to someone that calls them out of the blue.
