Got a phone call from someone posing as an APS employee demanding a payment from us. Asked to speak with a supervisor and one immediately got to us. After a few minutes of conversation, we assumed that this was some sort of scam. Every "employee" that we spoke with had American surnames, but not a one of them could speak intelligent English. Finally after enough abuse (mine, not there's), they hung up on me.

Got several calls from same outfit at 602-539-2245 posing as APS, threatening to disconnect business electricity. They actually had the correct account number for APS, but not mailing address, said a blue van would show up within 30-45 minutes and disconnect service unless a pay pax payment was made at Circle K into their account. Wanted 500 bucks sent. called them back and they claimed to be a cop and ESPN and then cursed and called us names! What a bunch of scumbags! They stopped answering their phone after we called back and said police were on the way to them.

Same number just called our business.  Said we owed them almost 1000.00 and a van would show up in 20-30 minutes to disconnect.  We immediately  went to our aps office and had our aps office call them back posing as us.  She identified herself and said to quit calling otherwise she was going to call the police and they accused her of crank calling them and they would have her fired.  Do not give them any information about yourselves. Just hang up and call police.
