these people call a couple of times ever day always 10 minutes apart. Never leaves a message. Google says it is a lock smith. One site says ARS debt collections but that is 3 years old.

Saw this number come up on my phone so I called it back. The person who answered, new my phone number right away and asked for me. I then asked what company he was with and he rattled off quickly ARS Collections and then asked for some personal info to verify it was me. I then asked 'Collections for what?" and he again asked for personal info. I told him I was not going to give personal info until he told me exactly who the collections was for. He then stated he will note my account as uncooperative. I told him that he had to understand that there are frauds out there and it seemed odd that he wouldn't give me any more info about ARS but yet wanted my personal info. He didn't care. Wow! Still don't know if this was a real company or not.

they call daily never leave messages i called back conferm ars looking for some ashly hays saying im responsible to get her info i know nobody of this name but yet cant get calls to stop they do tell me its a debt colloctor and calls being recorded when i answer but they have wrong number and wont stop wish i knew hot to go after them

ARS collections. They asked to speak to Cat-lynn saying my name already incorrectly I ask who it is. They mumbled their name incoherently and said ARS Collection. He ask again if I'm Cat-lynn I said what is this reguarding and he said it's a personal matter. He then asks if Cat-lynns available so I said not at this moment and he hung up on me.

Arizona, USA This number called today for my husband. When I answer a woman says, "This call will be monitored for training purposes" or something like that. I said he is not available and can I take a message and the woman says, "No that's fine I'll call back later" and hangs up right away. I've received this call before with the same interaction they tell me they'll call back and hang up abruptly.

called looking for a Wanda, when i said they had the wrong number she said mmmhmmm and hung up. so i called the number back and they answered "This call is being recorded, this is ARS how may i help you"

They keep calling, but when I answer the phone they don't say anything and after about 10 seconds they just hang up.

I keep getting calls from this number, however, they never leave a message.  I answered one time and they wanted my personal information, i.e. address, ssn verification, etc.  They won't tell me what it's regarding, they say they are collection agency, however, I can't get any other information from them even though they say call is being recorded.  Until they provide me with additional information regarding this "so called debt", such as company, etc. they will NOT be getting my personal information.  If they would communicate better, I would probably work with them a little more, however, it's a fight each time and they refuse to give information even though they want all my information.

No "legitimate" debt collector (and I use that term very loosely) can legally discuss a debt unless they know who they are talking to.  That is the way the law is written.  However they are now required to send you a dunning letter in the mail within 5 days of your conversation.

Received a call from 602-635-6889. After answering with typical greeting, there was total silence. I do not call back. When calls such as this come through a second time and the response is the same as the first, I block the number.
