Selling extended auto warranties

Someone call me from this #trying to sell extended waranty on my car

refused to answer the question if they were trying to sell me something.

Received a call and when I answered it, the call ended. I tried to call the number back and received a message that if I didn'twant to receive calls from this number to push 1. I pushed 1 and then looked the number up and found that it is a extended waranty company that I have ask to remove my number from their calling list. I have regestered with th do not call list and still receive these types of calls. How do you stop them?

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Lady called saying she was calling from the warranty division from the dealership where I bought my Toyota. Turns out, they are a third party company misrepresenting themselves in a fraudulent manner trying to extend a car warranty. Once I called the Lady out on it, she hung up on me. What a wrench! I called back and an automated message gave me the option to be placed on their "do not call list"...

Yep, Caller ID said "FINAL NOTICE," which is deliberately designed to sound like a debt collector and put the fear of You-Know-Who into many people and induce them to pick up in a panic. I figure that if I owe anybody anything, which I don't, they'll for sure leave a message, which these bums didn't.

Unfortunately you can't.  You can report them to the feds but it does no good.  The Do Not Call List is a farce!
