Been calling me 3 times a day for the last 3 days.  Who are these annoyers?

They have been calling daily in the morning for the last few weeks. I finally answered today to tell them not to call as I was registered on the Do not call list - but they didn't answer me when I said "Hello". I am so sick and tired of their calls...who are they? Why, we google the number, don't we get the answer, who this number belongs to?

They have been calling our number for days. I finally answered yesterday and told them to take us off their call list. They called back again this morning and I did answer. It has something to do with getting a federal refund on energy bills. The telemarketer claimed there is no up front cost, but what we paid for the program would off set our refund and savings on energy bills. I googled this type of call and apparently it's some sort of scam.

I get calls from this number all the time.  Yesterday I answered and they asked for my ex who hasn't lived here for 4 years.  I am on the do not call list and they said they would take my number off their list.

@Deb, there are federal tax credits for purchase of energy efficiency improvements such as high-efficiency AC units, dual-pane windows, insulation, etc. However it is only a percentage of cost up to a certain limit. I'm guessing that is their angle, sell you an overpriced AC unit or something, with the promise that the tax credit and energy savings pays for it. Uh huh.
They called me at 11am yesterday but didn't leave a message.
I know because I purchased a new AC unit last year from the guy that's been servicing mine for several years. I needed the unit anyway (the evaporator was leaking and it was almost 10 years old) and would have purchased it regardless of the credit, which was only about $500.

I have received a few calls from this number and it comes up as Heritage Ink on my caller id. I answered today and heard nothing at first, then a female voice with background noise said hello then she immediately hung up.

I have received numerous calls from this phone number -- usually hang-ups or dead silence upon my answering...until today.  The telemarketer identified herself from "Energy Savings Alliance." (This
coincides with the "ESA" on my caller ID box.  I have no problem ending the conversation before it begins, and informed the caller that I would NEVER conduct business with any organization that treats its potential customers with such indifference that they repeatedly call, do not leave messages, and inconvenience us with their frequent hang-up calls.  I insisted she remove me from her customer list. I'm anxious to see what happens. Be prepared to take a consumer survey asking you questions about the cost of your energy bills (gas and electric), to determine if you qualify for government subsidies.  Try asking for their phone number so YOU can call them back. (I told my elderly parents to say this one statement when they receive calls like this: "I'm sorry, I do not conduct business over the phone." Then hang up. Most annoying...

This is a phone scam.....BEWARE AND DO NOT RESPOND

Two calls by noon today.  Did not leave a voice mail either time.

I received two calls on 4/1/12 with Ident ESA.  So it's Enerty Savings Alliance.  That figures.  I also
get hang ups for another A/C tune-up special from Chandler, AZ. called Solar Bear whom I reported to the Attorney General Office Complaints (602-542-5763).  Their Consumer Protection and Advocacy Section seems to go after telemarketers who scam the elderly with this type of call.

Read this completely, maybe time to contact your representatives or senators to put a stop to these annoying calls since Do Not Call Registry does not work!!  Class action suit might help too!

Please stop calling us.

Yep, I got the 'ESA 602-734-0047' call but did not answer it.  Just started my caller ID.  Have been getting a lot of telemarketer calls lately and i think they were for 'energy savings'.  Asked to be taken off but guess they have not.l
