I got a call from this number today. It was a recorded message from CitiMortgage stating that we had been pre-approved for a loan modification on our mortgage with them. Then it said to press 1 for more information, or 2 to be removed from their calling list. I pressed 2.

Every time I would get a call from this # I would press 2 to be removed.That didn't work, so I stayed on hold till I got someone. The person I talked to said she would take my # off the list.  NOT!  I called again and was on hold, told this person to take my # off he said he would, and I said the last person I spoke to said the same thing. The strange thing is HYDRO ALUMINUM shows up then 602-734-0147. What do they have to do with CitiMortgage and Loan Modification?

I also get repeated calls from this number.  Googles as Landline in Arizona but no name on Caller ID.  They never leave a message either.

One more thing ---  the BBB of northern-western-arizona gave Forsta Mediation a grade of "F".

I called CitiMortgage about this and they stated that it was not them  most likely a scam.

The weird thing is Aim trying to get loan modification from citibank... but aim in NY.Called back busy number.Can i call Police?

I receive several calls from this number about Citimortgage about lowering my mortgage.  I called and found out that they are not part of Citimortgage.

I got a phone call from 602-734-0147 said they approved a loan modification for me. I was put on hold. The phone number they called me on was not the number that Citimortgage calls me on, so I just hung up. I'm also working with NACA to help with my modification. Did one of these company's sell my information? The company was also Hydro Aluminum. This must be a scam !!!!!!!

This appears to be a scam - HYDRO ALUMINUM shows in caller id and a person greeted me when I answered.  She asked me about CitiMortgage loan modification.  Immediately I told them i wasn't interested and asked why the name - and she didn't have a clear answer just blah blah blah.  i cut it short.  going to report them to the BBB now.

Received a call on myhome pho number from "Hydro Aluminum" on 2/2/2011 which turned out to be Forsta Mediation services. Returned the call using my cell phone and pushed #1 after the introduction. Waited  couple minutes and a person came on the phone, i told them that they were using deceptive business practices and requested to speak to her supervisor, asked not to be transfered because you always get cut off. What do you think happened after my request, I was disconnected like always. Tried calling back on two other cell phones and was greated very rudely and was hung up on again. Tried using my home phone again to find out they had blocked all three of my numbers. I will file this with the Texas Attorney Geneals Office and the Better Business Bureau in San Antonio, Texas where I live. Oh yes, the name they gave me was "Affirmed Mediation Services" the first time and "Forsta Mediation" the second time. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY BECAUSE THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!!

These goofs keep calling and never leaving a message. After reading the posts probably a "phishing" scam.

Yes we keep getting calls from Hydro Aluminum as well meanwhile I can't get Citimortgage to even help me with my mortgage issues why would HYDRO ALUMINUM be able to help me.  My opinion is anything affiliated with Citimortgage is a scam because Citimortgage is a scam and in my opinion one of the worst mortgage companies out there and should be shut down so I know this Hydro Aluminum is a scam.

I get calls from this company, and as indicated by others in your post, Citi Mortgage isn't helping at all.  What's up with this?   I usually don't answer these calls....when it came up on my called i.d. I thought it was an aluminum siding company??  Today we did answer to tell them to stop calling because we don't want aluminum siding.   That's when they said we were pre-approved for loan modification.   The implication is that they ARE Citi Mortgage!   I was then put on hold for 30 minutes and finally hung up.   What company calls you (automatic dialer, I presume) and then can't talk because their agents are all busy?

I get 2-3 calls a day on my home phone And also on my cell phone. I am so tired of this. If you try to talk with the representative & tell them to remove the number, they hang up immediately. When you press the number to be removed, you're disconnected, however, they continue to call. What legal measures can we take to stop this nonsense & nuisance? I'm so ready to take some action! The recording says that it's Citibank calling for a loan modification.

Herman - I think I'll try your trick and maybe they will block my numbers! I am tired of the calls. I actually got a modification from citimortgage 2 months ago so I know for a fact it isn't them calling. This place is driving me nuts, they not only call my home number they keep calling my work cell phone!!

Continue to get calls from Hydro Aluminum on both cell and home number.  The never leave message but identify themselves as CitiMortgage

When I called the guy who answered said it was called "Home Affordable Program."  When I asked how he got my number, he said "you are very rude" and hung up!  Seriously.  This company is not only a scam BUT Citimortgage sold your number to them.  When I called the 602-734-0147 number, I was told that they got my number (which is a cell phone) from Citimortgage.  Citimortgage said that it gives customer information to its "affiliates" and that they would remove me from the list but it would take 30 days.  There needs to be some investigation about this -- it is shocking to believe that Citimortgage "gave" my info to this scam company.  I'm sure the truth is that they sold my information to them.  And they don't give a crap what kind of company they sell their customer information to.

They make it seem they are Citi, But they are not. I did apply for a mod w/ Citi. And this outfit calls on my cell. So someone at Citi is selling numbers, which in no way surprises me w/ that company. By the way, I was denied the mod by Citi ( bailed out with our tax dollars ) for the same reason that your supposed to get one ( I was on unemployment ). Both of these company's are scams ! Hows all this " Hope and Change " working for ya America ?
