called us on our comcast phone line here in CA...caller id says john thompson...no message..no clue.

called my work phone.  i amswered and got no response.  i called the number back and got the vm had not yet been set up

I just got the same call, left no voicemail but I did hear a click on the voicemail, meaning whomever it was listened to the full answering message before hanging up.
Just checked another website and they say it is a telemarketer from a credit card company, great

this number keeps calling us too with John Thompson popping up on caller id...a message got left for the first time I'm pretty sure on accident because all you hear is...."What are you doing! Quit kicking me! I will smack you!" ....this is incredibly annoying

Just received a call from 602-840-0462.  They call everyday and there is no message.

calls every few days. sometimes more. Have been some scam callers also. are they connected. I don't know.

Me, too - twice now.  What is this about?

Has called me SEVERAL times a day. Called me 6 times today. I figure if it's important and someone that really wants me to call back they would leave a message. They need to stop calling!

Called Asking if I was who I am but I didn't tell him that, he wanted to explain to me how I can get rich quick program and wanted me to join his organization with my own website and free monitoring for life...what a joke.

Called my cell phone #. The caller says his name is Stephan.  Says he is with Visa/Mastercard (isn't that 2 different companies?) and wants to know if I want to make money working from home 5 hours a week. Asked for personal information so he could "use it" for his presentation.  Nothing but scam written all over it.  Who is supposed to be monitoring this stuff anyway? More importantly, what can be done about it?

I received one call from this number on 09-18-2009 at 9:51 am pacific time, no message left.  I called back to discover who it was, (thought it was a friend in the Phoenix area) and the outgoing message announced the mail box had not been set up.

This number called my cell and ask for me by my proper name. Scary you never know if they have additional confidential info.

just like all the other people, call many time and leave no message and the VM is not set up when call back
