Called and left a hang-up voice-mail message. We are located in the 416 area code (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) and do not know any person or company in 603 (New Hampshire).

google shows that you can sue these people in small claims courts. just search for telemarketing court. You can get $500 per phone call, so keep all the details of the conversation so that it's easier to do in court.

Apparently, you can register for court on-line too, makes things easier.

Got a call from 603-214-3648 a few minutes ago (also got one from 603-214-3304 last week) but the caller did not leave a message (my voicemail greeting tells telemarketers to remove my number from their list).  I don't answer these calls as these scammers apparently think that the Canadian DoNotCall law does not apply if they are calling from outside Canada.  I subscribe to Call Screen (*60) and then block these numbers.

As I said on that board, they're filthy dirt skinned [***] just phishing for credit card numbers. Blocking the number seems to do nothing because they change it on a daily basis.

My guess is they're in cahoots with NCO Collections.

These idiots call me on a daily basis..I have complained against these scammers several times..I'm also on the do not call list...The only reason I subscribed to the do not call list is because of these idiots...Most other telemarketers just take you off their lists and they don't bother you anymore..Some of the other numbers they have called me from are: 603-214-3304, 978-570-2339, 603-214-3648...I'm just going to keep on complaining to the authorities about these dirtbags...

I am getting VERY FRUSTRATED with this supposed credit card company.  They call me at least once a day and always change their phone number.  Today it was this particular number.  Is there anyway to stop this??  We are already on Canada's "do not call" list and it doesn't matter to them.  If I don't answer, they still leave a voice mail which completely wastes my time.

It has nothing to do with where you live or where they are calling from.

ITS A SCAM PURE AND SIMPLE.  They are out to commit identity theft or credit card fraud - breaking DNC laws is nothing to them

No you signed up for the DO NOT CALL LIST to stop LEGITIMATE BUSINESSES from calling you.

This is scam and these people are crooks - they don't care!

called today at 11:26 am. Call hung up after the 4th ring. I am in area code 613.

They just called.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize!  I don't know anyone in the US any more.

It's just telemarketing criminals anyway!

These guys keep calling and I am so fed up of these scam companies from the USA.  I'm on the do not call list, but USA numbers don't count, this is friggin harrassment!!!!!!

These people call at least once a day-- we're lucky they don't leave a message. We are in the 780 area.

Well these guys just called me and claimed to be a collections agency, yet I dont have any outstanding bills or anything. Now for the DNC listing they can get away with it because if they claim they are clooectors the DNC does not apply for them since its not a telemarketer but a collector. here is the kicker, I got a call from the exact number about two weeks ago and they were then telemarketers, I know because I log all my calls on a voice recorder, I say the number calling me before i answer the phone and then answer and record and tell them I am recording the conversation for personal security, shortly after telling them that and asking the name of their company, they told me they were going to transfer me to someone and then I get disconnected. Well this morning then they called I got out my recorder and told them I was recording and that the last time they called there were telemarketers and played the old recording from my computer and soon as they heard the number and then the guy talking that called previously I told them that if they call me again that I will file a law suit on them and he hung up faster I have ever seen. There are ways people to catch these guys but it takes time and unfortunatly money. the alternative is catch them in the act with a handy dany voice recorder and keep a call log for unknown numbers and you will be surprised on how many fewer calls you get because they dont like the smart fish in the pond, only the ones that are ill prepared. I hope this helps some of you out.

SAME JERKS, DIFFERENT NUMBER.  What I do now is connect, (DIAL '9'), ask them to hold while I get my card, then set the phone down and go about my business.  Twice now the fools have held for 5 minutes plus.  If everyone did the same, there would be lots of wasted time for these cretins.

Received a call at 2:49 pm no message

I receive several calls from this number everyday. If you hold on for a representative there is no one to ask to remove your number from their list. It seems there is an urgent need for some form of policing of numbers generated in the States that are not blocked by the Canadian Do Not Call List.

July 03, 2009, at 2:05 p.m. received a call from 1-603-214-3648, "Out of Area", I received a call.  I am in Sarnia, Ontario.  It was a recorded message to press to speak to someone to get a lower interest on my credit card.  (I don't believe in credit cards and don't have them.)  I filed a complaint because I am on the Canada Do Not Call Registry.  They can then do whatever it is they do and stop calls coming from that particular number - it has worked before.  Always report these calls that you get. This is a scam caller.

Actually filing a complaint with Canada's Do Not Call Registry does help with scammers.  Legitimate businesses have been selling their lists and the government is blocking those numbers from calling people and if they can determine the business that provided the information have had to face consequences.

They just called me in Ontario... I called the number back and it has a msg that if you don't want to receive calls from them anymore to hit #1... I did and I guess I'll see if it works.

called me on Saturday morning , no messege. show's that they called twice. We should find out who owns the buisness and post the address and his/her phone number here.maybe even an employee phone list.
