I'm on the Do Not Call Registry. They said they got it from an online partner. There are only about 5 people who have my cell phone number.... They are either harvesting numbers online or something. But you can file an FCC complaint online as well as a complaint thru the Do Not Call registry website.

Says OTO GROUP on my caller ID.  No one there when I answered it.

I got a call from this number and determined that they're phishing for legitimate phone numbers. The phone number that shows on the caller ID is only a line for you to press 1 if you don't want more calls. Who sets up a phone number for nothing other than telling them you don't want their calls? Press 1 and you're guaranteed to get a lot more calls from them and all their other scamming partners. Go to FCC.gov and report it every single time they call.

Just got a call on my work cell, same security group asking if they can give me free security system if they put a sign in my yard. I asked for how long, they replied that a specialist would call me back if I was interested. They asked me for my name, I gave it to them (don't tell me how stupid I am, I know) they asked me if I owned the home I lived in, I said yes, they reminded me how convenient it is to have a security system, thanked me for my time, asked me to stay by the phone to get the call from the specialist, and hung up. I know the call is a scam of some type, I just don't get what harm they can make with only a cell phone number (that's not under my name) and my name, no other info.

I've had similar calls.  Don't know if this one is from the same company because I ignored it, and I'm glad I did now that I see these posts.
I answered the first one I got, and got connected to a clever recording that responds to your answers, trying to sound like a real person.  Ultimately, if you say you want to be contacted, an unsuspecting local vendor will get a lead from this place and call you.
I told the guy who called me I had no interest in a security system, and only wanted to get to a real person.  I told him whomever is generating lead for him is doing him a real disservice with crap like these phone calls, and he'd be better off generating his own leads.

I had a missed call from this number, no message.  I've gotten similar calls from a number located in North Dakota.  I definitely chalked it up to being a phishing scam.  The ND caller I reported to the FBI through their website.  They wanted to do the same thing, install a security system.  They even offered to put a sign in my yard for free just for listening to their pitch.  The call was to my cell phone with a number from a different state than I actually live.  Don't give them any information, not even your name.  Hang up and report them immediately.

I got a call from this number. I did not answer however they did leave a message. The message stated that it was a public announcment and  if I owed any back taxes they could help me with payment. I do not owe back taxes. I am alos in the DNC list with both of my cell phones. My husband does not get these calls just me.

this has happened to me countless times.  I call back, press 1, hear a recording that i am on their do not call list (although why i need to do that considering i am on the fcc's do not call list) and sure enough, they call back.  i file complaints at donotcall.gov.

i feel the same way.  maybe if enough of us complain, the government will finally take action against all these harassing calls

I have received a call from this number twice now.  I got another one about 3 weeks ago. I did not answer it and no voice mail was left.  I Googled it and came up here. Sounds like something is going on here.

when u ignore the call coming in. they leave no message, and most of these call r recordings.

RoboCall offering last chance to get back tax debts to government settled by their company for 50% off. Sounded like Howard from Heck (Tax Relief.). They called at brunch and would not provide a return number to call after I was done eating.

Do not press 1, if you do they know they have a live one on the hook.  This is a scam and needs to be put to a stop.  This is a telemarketing scam period.
