No one left a message after our machine's outgoing message finished playing, so we don't know who actually called. The call came in at approximately 1:30 today.
Received various phonecalls from this number - Reverse number lookup shows this is a Salem, NH number. No message left on our message service. Call came in approx 4:47 PDT.
I have received within 6 days 5 calls from this number. They seem to be looking for a person whose name is similar to ours but it is not ours, They refused to spell this name so we could advise them that they had a wrong number, they refused to say who they were.
Friday February 01, 2008 Call came in at 09:54 a.m. The number is a collection agency! When I asked them to identify themselves they refused and hung up. Obviously they don't want to be sued under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Keep getting calls from this number. Once or twice a day, despite being on the Do Not Call List. A caller Id or company name does not appear. Keep getting calls after filing complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. Hope someone can stop them.
If a credit card calls you up they have a right to I think three times a day. But, a collection agency has no right to keep on bothering you under the fair debt collections act. My brother moved out of my home approximately 9 to 12 months ago. He is the one that's in trouble. Even if you are the one they seek these credit collection agencies have no right to harass you period. They could be cited for phone harassment. And violations of the do not call list if you have them on there. I have amassed much knowledge concerning the subject unfortunately. I would suggest that you do a courtesy call to them. Don't answer any questions except once that you feel comfortable with. Sometimes they will ask if it's not a correct number for the number the offending party can be reached. Don't give them that. That said, in addition I found out something else very interesting. You may settle with a credit card for 33 percent of the value to 50 percent of the value of your outstanding debt. Make sure they remove anything from your your credit report that's negative. All credit card companies have an agreement, just ask for that. In addition, remember that once you call up the statute of limitations is at the beginning once again. So the dam sure you can pay. These credit card collection are merely law firms which it by the debt for a mere 12 cents on the dollar. These people are scum. Don't be a victim. Instead take action most aggressively. There is no prosecution for you lying to a lawyer, or treating them as rudely as they treat you.
to puckwins.... from what i was told the collections and card companies can call you up to eight times a day if nobody answers the phone.if you do talk to someone and cant agree on any payment then they cant call you for three days then if you do agree on a payment then they cant call you for five days. if the statute of limitations has run out you dont have to pay and they cant file it on your credit report..my r=theriy is if the collections calls you after the statute of limitations runs out then thats there mistake they should of called you before the time ran out,,so why should you pay for there mistakes and i said that in court and the judge ruled in my favor. they try to use a new scare tactic they say they will report this th the irs as earned income a 1099c form..the statute of limitations with the irs on earned income is three years from april 15th to april 15th three years later so that wont work either.but if the earned income is more then 100,000.00 there is no statute of limitations
Salem, NH is where the office's of "Boudreau & Associates" is. i got a collection notice from their office the other day. also on that notice is phone numbers of the 603 area code so this number has to be thiers. i did not answer and do not plan too.
do not answer this number it is from a collections scammer
I've received 4 calls from this number, havent answered it yet. Also, I have received a number of calls from a similar number ,area code etc.I answered it and its a machine asking me to enter a 1 if yes or 2 if im not the person they are looking for. DONT enter a number, with todays technology and operating systems in smart phones you never know what an unsolicited inquery into your phone will result in if you answer their propt for a response. P.S. this is a good site to detremine the source of annoying calls
