I received two phone calls from this number. I didn't answer them because I live in California and did not recognize the area code & number. I think it may be some sort of phone scam because I have been receiving calls from blocked numbers a few days before this number called me today. I think it could be because I submitted for what I thought was a legit job posting on Craigslist. I got an email about an international shipping business that sounded fishy, so it leads me to believe someone or some people are trying to scam me since I got that email last week. Oh yeah, when I answered the blocked calls, I heard was air. There was no response and no noise so I hung up thinking it could be a scam to try and charge my phone for calls from some where else. Hope this helps someone else trying to find out who the heck this is calling...

I too responded to an add on CL and started receiving calls from Blocked numbers..then this phone number appeared today.  I did not answer it and when running the area code found out it is New Hampshire....strange since I live in California.

I will not answer it if they call again.

I too have been getting calls from this number and I also live in California. When I answered there was a delay and someone claiming they were from Cox Communications. Are any of you customers of this company?

Yes I am a Cox customer. They called me from a California area code the other day trying to sell me some more service. I thought it could have been Cox but the delay was so long I didn't know who it was... I didn't want to stay on the phone too long since I wasn't hearing anything.

I just think it's weird to be in California and get a call from an area code I've never heard of before.. I'm still uneasy about who it could be.. Please post more info as you find out..

Also in California... got 3 calls from this number today, and no message left.

I was called four times today.  Twice I picked up and twice there was no sound on the other side of the line.

and I just got a call from this number... third time in 2 days... if it is from Cox, I'm assuming it's because I'm late with the payment

I also live in California, San Diego to be exact. I keep receiving this number and an unknown # which I never answer. I have received over 15 calls. no one on the other end when i answer the 603 # and it's busy when i  call it back !!!!

This number keeps calling with no one theré. I tried to call it back and the call wont go through. Driving me nuts.

I'm from PA and I've been receiving this same phone # also.  I haven't answered it....but, they call several times a day and it is annoying!!!

I got a blocked call that I didn't answer, however they left a voicemail on my cell phone and my caller ID picked up this ph number . The message was just dead air for a few seconds.

I live in WV and have been receiving calls from this number. I try to call it back and it says it is disconnected which is impossible. I have never replied to anything on Craigslist or Cox Communication.  I have no idea what it is or what to do. I  called my cell phone provider and they can't do anything.

The past week I've been getting several calls a day, no voicemail, just air when I answer. Has anyone called it back? I haven't used Craig's list in over a year - but did provide my cell phone number when I posted sport tickets (not my smartest move!)

Im Pa and also got a call from that numaber when you do a google serch for that aera code you come up with some place in the middle ease but the oper says it new hampsher

i'm a cox communications member, a californian and i got this call twice. the first time it was a girl and she asked for me by name. then when i said hello she hung up. tried to call back it said the number was wrong but it rang like 5 times. they called again today but didnt say anything. if they think there wasting my minutes or causing extra charges they're dumb cuz my [***] unlimited!!! lol

Even though you can't call back, it's comcast cable...I had the same thing and finally answered.

I have used craigslist.com (real estate section) within the past week and just contacted comcast cable about something this morning (two names I noticed in other comments). I'm located in Pittsburgh, PA. This number is a land line serviced by Brooks Communications (reseller) but didn't list who the number was being used by.  The number seems to be primarily showing up in CA & PA (or we are the only states that report it the most on these boards).  I didn't pick up, nor call back.  This is another board about the number -  https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/6035702057
