I just got a call from this number too.  I think it is spam.

I'm sorry, actually a text and it says "hello _____" and then my name???  I went to a nascar race this weekend, maybe it was one of the companies that picked up my phone number for prize drawings (aka spam)

Got a text that said "Hi ____" and then my name. Responded with who is this? Reply was" Add me on Y! messenger and find out txtiechick790 is my nickname." My response " Dont use any IM clients" No response back.

I got a text also saying Hi Jill from this number and replied with who is this but got no reply.

I got this text the other day same thing "hi Cherise.." Glad to hear I'm not alone. I heard on the news there are a lot of cellphone hacking and scams going on.

I got the same test today "Hi Claire". I didn't respond back because it felt too weird. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I got a message from this number saying "Hey (my name). They asked me to add them on Yahoo Chat and then said their iphone was dying. Probably spam or maybe a Yahoo service.

Got a text from this number saying 'Hi Ashley'. I said 'hello. Who is this?' They said 'oops. Grr. My fone's gonna die'. Weird that they responded back.

I just got this too. Is replying back to it a bad thing if it's a hacking service? It's weird. Weirder that people still use yahoo chat...ha!

I Just had the same high..then my name. and i asked who is this...and it said grrrr my phone is dying...is it bad if i made a response?

I just got a text that said "hey LeAnne" but did not reply.   I  researched the number and looks like many people are receiving this as well.

I got a text from this number on my birthday that just read "hi late". I did not reply because I've never seen thisnumberbefore and I only give my number to people I know. And I have had this number for 5 years now, so is not like it's been someone else's number recently.
