LM on office machine over weekend, the first part of which was cut off.  The number is from NH and yet the Caller ID says "Local Web" - SCAM!!!!!!  Added to my "hang up on" call list!

(603) 834-6333 called our 800# today.  Thanks to "apastor" for the additional numbers used by these scammers.  Calls  insisting you  list your business on Google-sick of them!

I got a call from this # to our buisness phone and it was some lady speaking spanish.  Have no clue what she wanted and told her to call back when she learns how to speak English.

(603) 834-6333  don't answer this call it's a SCAM/ they are identity thieves and you will be very very sorry . you will lose everything .. be very afraid and stay away from these people!!!

Recorded message said this was to claim my listing on Google+.  I passed through the menu and spoke with Aaron and asked to be removed from the list.  He said I was "all set."  I get at least 3 similar calls/week.

Machine gen, no one on line when answered. loud  click and no-one answered so i hung up.

no end to these calls...called my cell today, and I did not answer as I have gotten several other calls with 603 area code. No message was left. Apparently more people trying to scam you about moving you to the top of Google. Google people state they do not rate where your listing shows up any differently if you pay for an ad or not. More scammers.

This was another of those spammer calls from Google or one of their partners trying to get Home Owners to sign up as a business and use their Web site, etc.   I have tried numerous times to get them to stop calling me without it happening.   They don't even attempt to check the DNCL or use it to bother home owners.

I think we should all buy a police whistle and blow it very loudly into the phone.  I am sure after several employees complain about not being able to hear any longer this shenanigans might stop!

I spoke to someone at Google's HQ about these calls just last week. I was told by the person I spoke to that Google has nothing to do with these calls, and that they have received other calls and emails regarding what is obviously fraudulent use of their name. Nothing was said about what if anything they're doing about it...

I'm a Police Officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. I called Google's HQ after getting numerous of these calls on my home landline...

If you get a live person, under no circumstances give them any personal information of any kind whatsoever - no matter how hard they try to impress you with the necessity that you provide it...

This is very likely some kind of scam...

And if you see any of the numbers mentioned on your Caller ID, simply don't answer. And if you have the ability to block the number, by all means do so...

And if you don't have Caller ID on your landline at home, by all means get it - at least you'll be able to identify these calls and simply not answer, thereby denying these people an audience...

We receive numerous calls from this scam company on our charity's emegency hotline. If you finally get someone on the line and ask to see their website (they want to fix yours) they hang up. All they want is your money. Beware.

I receive multiple calls from this phone number every week at my office.  It is a recorded message that tells me that my company hasn't claimed it's Google listing.

Shows up as "Local Web" on my caller ID.  I never once answered or spoke with them...just decided to look up their number to see if they were legit and saw all these comments.  They used to call daily for a few weeks, but now they'll call maybe once or twice a month, if at all.  Pressing 1 to remove yourself from a list or asking to be removed will not help you in the least.  The best thing to do if you see an unfamiliar number with an out of state or 8XX area code is to simply not answer.  By answering, you assure the scammers that there is a person at the other end & the calls will only increase in frequency.

Female ROBOT calling for locallighthouse.com in Orange County. "Rick" claimed his company is a sub-contractor for Bing, Google, and Yahoo, and that if you pay them lots of $$$, he can get one's listing on page 1 on Bing, Google and Yahoo. The robotic female voice claims to be calling from Google +. Very high pressure sales spiel. "Local Web" on CID.

Got a call stating that they would be able to get our web page on the fist page of Google.I stated we were already on the first page of Goole and most other search engines, they very rudely hung up.
