multiple calls, some voicemails, some calls returned: collection agency looking for my ex-wife; they won't say that because of privacy regulations, but they dance around with "important personal business"; today when I instructed (barked an order, really) to not call me again, they responded with the veiled threat that this would just make things worse for her--earlier voicemail they said they were trying to get a reference, when they do identify themselves it's very rapid to the point of unintelligibility "Winmmmamdhand Professionals"--I really think they want to imply that she's applied for a job and they're checking references--in other words kind of a sleaze-bag collection agency...

Its all OK. I got a buddy I met in prison that owes me a favor. He is one violent S-O-B. I talked to these people about 6 months ago too. I told them if they called me again I would kill them. I guess they thought I was kidding. I wasn't. Too bad for them. I told my friend I want a pic and a finger from each one he does. They gonna pay now.

Windham Professionals - if you have a old, I do mean old(>15-20 years) debit for an Educational Loan or Grant that you have not paid - they buy it second hand and collect on it. They are legit, but annoying.

Windham Professionals -  Collection agency, not very upfront and won't really identify themselves.

the person from Windham Professionals would not identify her name or her company name on the basis that it would violate the privacy of the person they were trying to reach (not me).  They had no trouble violating my own privacy.  They admitted not using the Do Not Call registry, and said they could legally put me on their do not call list.

I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry, although I don't think it will do any good
