Calls started in early May, 2014.  "Unknown Name".  I've never answered, no message left on answering machine.

The call was from "Medical Alert". The girl asked me could I hear her and I said yes. I hear you  and your company making an illegal unsolicited telemarketing call to a citizen whose telephone number is registered on the Federal Do Not Call List. She hung up.

I received 2nd call from this no. Did not answer and they left no message. If they are so ashamed for their name
to not show up on caller I.D. then I am NOT ashamed to refuse to answer.

No answer on callback

Same as the others - suspicious caller ID - I don't answer then dial *69 to find out the number.  If it is important they will leave a message.

got a call from 603-923-4397 ... she said she was Mary with senior benefits ... kept asking if I could hear her ... she told me I filled out a survey on the internet ... I am not a senior & I nor anyone in my household filled out a survey ...I asked her where she was calling from, she said  Pennsylvania ... I asked her who she worked for, she said she'd have an agent call me with that info ... I told her I am not guaranteed she, or whoever calls is who they claim, and if I want anything, I SEEK it out and shop for it myself ... I asked her, who was her boss, what was her phone number, and what phishing organization was she working for, and if she could HEAR ME ? ... LOL ! ... I told her to take my number out of her data bank, she said she was erasing it

Got a call from this number; thought it was probably a scam so when she asked if I could hear her (and I couldn't hear her clearly) I hung up.

Received a call at 12:07 pm.  Caller ID said Rochester New Hampshire.  I did not answere since I don't answer unknown numbers.  No msg left..  Just another scammer!

Received the call here in Louisiana at 4:50 PM today.  Didn't answer.  Caller ID said "Unknown Name."  No message left on answering machine.

Received a call from "Mary with senior benefits."  I told her that I was very glad to hear that she had senior benefits!!! LOL!! And that her reading skills were pretty bad!!!!! Then I hung up!!!!!

called this afternoon @ 2:30.  I did not answer and they hung up before it went to voice mail.

My 93 year old mother continually receives calls about medical alert devices.  She has one already. She is on the do-not-call register.  I googled the phone number and phoneguru located it in NH as a landline.

I received a call from 603-923-4397 last night.  Sometimes Caller ID says "ALERT" and sometimes it says "Unknown" (same as others have reported).  This number calls at 8:00 pm on Friday night, different hours on Saturday and around 12:30 pm on Sunday.  It is a landline in New Hampshire.  Blocked them with my Panasonic phone.  

got a call from 603-923-4397 @ 10:03 am.....just fell asleep....so damn tired of these scammers....refuse to answer any number I don't recognize

The people at 603-923-4397 are claiming to be laywers offering some sort of ''pre-trial intervention.''  They state that you have a ceartain amount of time for either you or your legal represenitive to make contact with them.Beyond the said time,they state that your case will be turnend over to the court and you will have automaticaly waived your right to ur services.I suspect this to be one of the latest debt collection schemes,because as far as I know,''and believe me,I would know,'' I am not due to appear in court,nor do I have any outstanding warrants.

I am on the Do Not Call list.

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list  is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

Remember, the Do Not Call site is a good one to report unwanted calls from LEGITIMATE telemarketers.  The DNC list does not cover calls from criminal scammers & spammers.  To report those, visit https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

If you receive calls even after reporting them (and waiting a sufficient time), then you should consider using a call blocker app, device or service as your first line of defense.  Google "call blocker" to see such things at Amazon or other sites.

Same as all the rest of you. Will report it like I always do to both State and Federal DNC lists.

The number which displays on your caller ID is spoofed. For the intellectually impaired, that's kind of a tip off that it's a criminal / bogus operation.

Don't expect the Federal government to do anything about this. They can't / won't even secure our borders.
