Called and hung up when I answered

really don't know who this is. This caller keeps calling me several times a day for the past week. i live in toronto and i don't know anyone who would call me from British columbia

Got calls from this number and when I answer no one is there just silent. Live in Ont and dont know anyone  in BC

Do not want this number calling me all the time. I do not know anybody in BC

The number belongs to collection agency.  Getting calls regarding a debt.

Got calls from this number as well did not answer. When I did they wanted to give me a free hotel room for a night. Didn't listen any longer, nothing is for free.

Just a scumbag collection agency, so it's no surprise these vultures call 20 times a day and hang up. Just ignore it.

Calls and says they are collecting for cell phone company. Insists on having my date of birth to confirm who I am. I have notified my service provider that if calls are not stopped I will change providers. I have never been a day late on any type of payment to anyone.

I just got a cell number a month ago in 416 area code(Toronto) so I am surprised to get calls from BC from 604 296 3238. I don't have any debts. Even if I had a debt I know that it would have taken quite a few months before my number would have been available to any genuine collection agency through a credit bureau as its a brand new  line. Obviously this is a scam and they are trying to get our personal information to sell. Those of us who have got calls should Beware of stolen identity as these thieves and lowlife have somehow got us on their radar

Calls several times per day.  I usually ignore it, but have occasionally answered so I could tell them to quit calling.  When I answer, nobody is on the other end.  If this is a collection agency as some people have said they've been told, you'd think the agency would talk to you when you answer.

I have been getting this call for well over two months and have answered a few times (dropped phone once and mic no longer works) and i hear some guys voice but if it is a debt collector I have no idea why i would owe any debt, Haven't even been in canada that long to start earning any debt.

These people start calling at 7:15 am & call at least 5 times a day until 8 pm or later. When I answer I get an automated recording asking me to hold for the next rep. Obviously they don't want to talk to me that badly or a human would be calling me. I have no debt so I'm not sure why they are calling since I don't have time to wait on hold for someone who called me to ask!

This number has been calling several times a day for the last 4 days.  I only got my phone four days ago, so there is no way I should have collection agencies calling already...jeeze gimmee a chance to accumulate a bill before you try to collect!  They never leave a message when they get my voice mail either which is frustrating also because if they have a legit reason for calling leave a frickin message so I know who they are and why they are calling.

I've received a call from this number a few times and when I called back it was for CBV Collections.  For us in particular, they were calling regarding a debt with phone company which my husband had - why they had my phone number I don't know.  I called the telephone service provider (who he's no longer with) and they verified that the debt was assigned to this agency.  When they've called and I've answered it is dead air for a bit until an agent picks up the call.

Oh your lucky... Called me 15 times yesterday... So far today since 10am til now 1:30 pm they have called 3 times ... Never anything on the other end... Getting fed up!
