They called and hung up! I could hear typing and call centre

They called asked for someone by name when said may I ask who is calling please , they hung up . Called back number not in service. Obviously a scam.

anyone else see a ridiculous caller ID when this number called? I feel so stupid should have known better.
They called asking for the home owner and when I asked who they were the line went dead.
Obviously a prank or scam of sorts.

This is a company calling to offer furnace cleaning. They asked for me by name, so maybe they are going through the phone book?

Probably time to obtain a call blocker device, app, or phone.
Google "call blocker" to see the various types, and find one that best meets your needs.

Pricks phoned me, I tried to call back via a proxy web service, but they had blocked incoming calls, they can rot in hell.

Received call from this number. There were almost 7  calls in a day. Filed a complaint with the RCMP. I was told that they are tracking the IP address of the caller . It could be a computer generated call using skype or other VOIP service.

august 27/2015...this number just called my home.  Number was unfamiliar so I didn't answer but decided to call back.
Recording said number no longer in service??...

Too many calls from unknowns. I don't answer them if I don't recognize the number; if its legit or something I should know about they will leave a detailed message!
