I received a call from this B.C. phone number about my credit card paiement, i dont have any problem with my credit lol they asking you to press one. I am sure this was a spam.

Call about reducung credit card interest. Obviously these moronic [***] don't care about the no call list.

Call came in at 1:32 May 4, 2013. No identification - our machine tells us who is calling (but only read the number out. No message left. Might be a good idea to block the number???

The people that hung up on you were the drug-addicted "card services" scammers. These lowlifes call us pretending to be associated with our credit card companies in order to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have given the scammers their card number have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these scummy creatures, and warn others before they are cheated!

The card service scammers use all spoofed (false) numbers. Occasionally they choose a number which is, or has been, a legitimate working number. The information you posted does not reflect the true identity of the caller. Many folks have been accused falsely of of being the caller.

Numerious calls, I have tried blocking # but keep calling

Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

Can you remove this address its not appropriate to post a residential address of someone that is CLEARLY not responsible for these phone calls. The police have been contacted and the number cancelled. We strongly suggest you contact the police if you receive further calls from that number.  But PLEASE remove the address and name. You wouldn't want to be responsible if any harm came to this person or home due to the reckless publication of the address.

This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of VOIP numbers.  The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.

If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.

I saw that in May 2013 someone said the cops were contacted, and that the number is being cancelled... It is now April 2014 - ph # 604-430-1091 is clearly still active cuz i just got a call on my landline from that #.

Got the call but fortunately recognized the number as one I wasn't expecting from BC, so ignored.

Received a call from this number today and it was about credit cards and interest rates blah blah blah. Didn't answer and will block number.

Received a call from a person who said they were from Credit "Card Services" representing Visa and Mastercard. After I asked his name, this person introduced themselves as John Mathews of Vancouver. Phone number on call display of 604-430-1091. Reading what others have written on these scam artists, it is completely in line with what he told me. He said I had a good credit rating, paid on time, and should be getting better interest and that they can negotiate better interest rates with MasterCard and Visa. I asked how he came upon this information if he does not work for my bank. I asked which lending firm do they belong to - which bank - and he did not know what I was talking about. I said that MasterCard and Visa are different credit companies, so which one does he work for?" Just more lies came out of his mouth. I asked for a number to call back as I was stepping out for the day, and he gave me 1-800-847-2912. The individual mumbled whenever he replied (so I had to keep asking him to repeat himself), had a thick east-Indian accent, and was quick to point out that the banks are taking advantage of "good Canadians" like myself. No, I thought, it's not just the banks, it's people like this guy and this company who are also reaching out and making first hand contact to rip us off. Amazing that this is allowed to continue!!  There has to be a way to stop this sort of scam before it truly hurts some unsuspecting innocent citizen of Canada. Probably happening in other countries as well. Shocking these scammers are so bold.
