It may or may not be the liver foundation.  The guy on the phone when they called me sounded uneducated and he tried to convince me to fork out even just $10 for the little children who are suffering.  This was after I told him I am unemployed.  That's such bad policy.  I called the liver foundation and told them about the call, and I told them I don't have "even just $10" and that I wouldn't give them money anyway because of the tone of the solicitor.  

I don't know if this is legit or not but put your number on the "national do not call registry".  Just google that and you can enter your phone number.  You won't get scam calls or solicitations.

He named himself as Rob McCannon, but I don't know if it is a real name.
He hung-up while I was asking his information.

When no answer is received it maybe a computer calling , if so hit the # key up to 9 times and it will wreck the info for the computer.  If a person is online reverse the questions so they have to answer you and this also can put an abrupt end to the call or a fun time with ridiculous questions for them.They soon stop calling you.
