    got call, ostensibly from community based research company, again ostensibly about public bicycles in vancouver bc... but right in the middle it changed to them trying to sell me insurance.

    a scam, in other words. to fool people into not hanging up on them right away

    got a call from 604-526-8621.  no msg left...

    i've tried calling back all the 604-526-xxxx numbers but they all show as busy or not in service.

    been getting a lot of calls from 604-526-xxxx all starting very recently.  i wonder if they're related.
