Someone called this morning and left a message. The caller was mumbling, and the message was cut off at the end. I couldn't understand what the caller was saying. I don't know anyone from this number.

It is a caller ID for a phone card.

I live in Kuwait and I got a misscall on my cellular phone from this number!

I live in India and got two missed calls from this number, Its annoying to find some alien numbers try reaching you.

I got 4 calls from this number at 3:00am, 3:30 am, 4:00am and 4:30am.  Everytime it was a fax machine, yet no fax ever printed.

We got a call at 3:30 am. When I answered the phone i just heard 4 spaced out clicks then it went dead. I tried to call it back it was just busy tones on the other end. This is the first time and it better be the last!

Same number just called me. A barely audible man asked if my company address was correct on our website. He was updating the "states" listings for company addresses. I asked if he was with the Secretary of State and/or Corporation Commission. He said he works with many companies. Bull [***]! He's just a telemarketer trying to pry information out of me.

Now the point of my post. From what I've seen, this number is a rental. I know a bit about telecomm. Some telcos sell an allowance for caller ID transmission of a specified phone number to telemarketers. The end caller, you, get annoyed then return the call once or many times. When you call the number back you are connected to the CLEC and not the telemarketer. Perhaps there is nothing on the line or a brief message. In the length of time that you are connected money flows to the CLEC from your carrier. Telemarketers eat this up and so do CLEC's (small telco). A friend of mine is owns a CLEC and does this. Its known as call pumping.

The only thing the average Joe can do is block the number.

I believe that 604-550-7000 is connected to DELL. Seems that DELL uses a VOIP to call their customers who initiated a service request, etc. This is my experience.

Could not understand the lady (she lefted a message) something about buying stock.  She did know my name.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Must not be working.

My friend visiting London called me from this number...it is a VOIP (telephone through the internet).  It cannot be called back, but is not necessarily malicious -

I got that call this morning. I saw the number on my screen and ignored it.  The message machine snapped on and it was MY NIECE in England calling me!  I picked it up immediately when I heard her voice.  That is NOT her English phone number.  I didn't ask her about it because I was excited about her and her family coming over for a visit. We had a nice long chat about that.

Maybe as someone else posted above, it's a phone card she bought.  I'll ask her in a couple of weeks when she gets here.

this number 604-550-7000 popped up on my cell phone when I got a call from DELL.  I had an issue with customer service and then they called me back this was the number that came up

Just got a call this morning at 9:45am.  Checked my messages and someone left a completely silent message.  There must be a way to find out who this is...

l recieved a call from this number, this morning..my partner left a message on my voice mail at 3AM..Since he is in Manchester England..l was concerned on where he was?? l was very upset about  it..

This number just called my cell phone...I didn't answer it..but I did just order a Dell computer and I have had some trouble with my order..so it could of been them..
