- SamDon't deal with these guys. The scan car sale ad and pretend to be a buyer, only to get people to pay to get them to sell your car.
These guys don't even list their number publicly. If they were so honest, they would not harass people trying to sell their car and also make there number public instead of private.
Freaking people from this company is annoying and very aggressive.
BEWARE!! - KyleGot a call - I did have a car ad out awhile ago. Nobody on the other end though.
- JimYep, it's a SCAM...the usual [***] story...we can sell your car, we have buyers! Right!
So HOW come I've NEVER heard of such companies when I am looking to buy a car? Where are they? Why don't they advertise? You guessed it. SCAM. I offered them $1,000 cash if they brought me a buyer, won't take it. I guess that tells you all you need to know! - Judy GuentherYeah my husband got a call just like that. But we told the lady that we no longer wanted to sell our car. She was so freaking persistent that we pay her 300 and some dollars and they would sell our car for us. I went to the web site and my anti virus/ computer protection system warned me that it was a fraudulent site. It`s a scam, watch yourselves people and save you money!!

- JohnHave had them call me twice. They left messages about inquiring to purchase my truck. I just called and it's not a buyer it's "Empire Vehicle Solutions". It's a load of crap/scam. $25 per week for 12 weeks with a guarantee to sell or it's free, I would like to see anybody get there money back if it doesn't sell.

- NatalieReceived a voicemail from this number from a supposed "buyer" for my car. Called them back and the woman on the other end seemed annoyed that I was calling her...kept sighing and asking me who I was again, what car is this again? Finally she said that she was calling from "Empire Vehicle Solutions". Immediately I told her I wasn't interested, as I've had several calls from companies like this. She proceeded to yell at me that I couldn't possibly not be interested when I didn't know anything about the company and that it was "my loss". She then hung up on me.
Not only is this likely a scam, but they are incredibly rude and pushy to boot. Don't bother returning a call from this number.- Caller: Empire Vehicle Solutions

- noeli signed up with empire vehicles about a month ago.. i totally freaked out because i thouht melissa was trying to scam me but after she convinced me to sign up i did it anyways because i really needed to sell my car.` unfortunatly i was not part of the lucky 80 percent they say sell there car in the first two weeks. i have however had an offer and am now waiting for the financing to go through. even though it took a month though i guess what ever contract they are offering did help me out because i coudnt do the financing through the bank my car is too old. hoever i dont feel 500 dollars up front was worth it. maybe 300 would have been fair

- BillThe scam is pretty simple folks here it how it works. Craig for example gets ahold of a web designer or someone who has a web site set up for selling cars. They set up the website (which no one has ever heard of) and try to get people to list their vehicles for sale on the website. It is pretty simple. There are endless leads on autotrader and kijiji and Craig's list to call. Then they get sales people to call for them. Most of these people are either jobless or criminals or drug addicts etc.... The people who call can say whatever they want. OH YEAH WE GOT TONS OF BUYERS/ PRE-APPROVED FOR FINANCING/ MOST SALES IN TWO TO THREE WEEKS/ WE ONLY CHARGE $40/wk / or $299 or $399 or whatever/ MONEY BACK GUARANTEE......... "IT IS ALL [***] FROM THE GETGO" The sales person convinces you that your vehicle will sell and charges you whatever he or she can get away with $299 or $399 or $499 ... the more they charge you the better because typically the sales person keeps 40% of this amount and the owner of the site keeps 60% of the money. You have your vehicle now listed on a site , that no one has ever heard of , except of course the people who listed their vehicles on it like you. You (rightfully so) are pissed off and so is everyone else on the site because they have been RIPPED OFF as well. As far as the scammers are concerned, they are in the clear. WHY? Simple- What are you going to do now, chase them down - NO, pay a lawyer $2000 retainer to get your $399 back - NO and guess what? They are already on to their next deal trying to scam someone else from the thousands of new private vehicles listed everyday. This is how the scam works!

- BillOh yeah, I forgot to add this point as well. Even if they say that they are based out of B.C. or Ontario or whereever, you can never be sure of this either. WHY? They use vonage boxes. These boxes cost $X/ per month and you can choose your number and exchanger. For example, if I live in Saskatoon and want to call people in Ontario to scam them, I simply get a vonage box, set up a (416) xxx-xxxx number and when I start calling people in Ontario, I can tell them we are in downtown Toronto. Of course when the people see (416) on their call display, they believe me. Meanwhile I am sitting in my house in Saskatoon, waiting to get 4 or 5 sales so that I can call my drug dealer on friday to buy more drugs.
This is how it is folks!!! Beware!!! List your vehicle on kijiji and auto trader or any other FREE site only
NEVER EVER EVER EVER PAY one of these companies or you will have been SCAMMED!!!!!
