It's Shaw.. they just hooked my phones up today and were checking if everything went alright... best service ever...

I call BS on Bob's post of April 14th. They call my cell phone, last time I checked neither my cell phone nor my satellite service is provided by Shaw.

I live in Winnipeg and I do not subscribe to Shaw so not sure what this call is all about.

First time getting this call on my Rogers cellphone.
They have been calling from 888-660-6382 fairly regularly, this was the first time from this number.
I do not answer these unknown calls

Why call my cell phone; because I'm on Rogers?

I do subscribe to shaw but I live in Edmonton and am not sure why I would get this call from BC.  I missed the call in the early afternoon

I got a call from this number today saying something like "your balance..."then it hangs up by itself. I though it was from Fido. I have terminated my service with shaw and have already paid out all the balances. Not sure what this call is about. I'll reject calls from this number from now on.

i got a call from this today, at about noon, I am at work and leave this phone at home. same thing it is a pay as you go cel through rogers.   if this is shaw it is bad way for a customer hunt.....

Yes, this was Shaw Cable calling, they tried my Shaw landline first, then my mobile, it was a rep promoting Shaw digital cable free for a year. I only have classic cable but without a digital box. I mainly use Shaw for internet and don't watch that much TV so I declined.

Every day, every week for the past three weeks. They call between 6:30 and 7:30 pm.

Have been getting a call a day from this # on my cell.  Start about noon and stop after 8:30PM/

from shaw, they left a message saying they were upgrading in my area and i wouldn't have digital phone service between midnight and 6 am tomorrow.

It is Shaw Cable in BC. They left an automated message advising that they would be doing upgrading in my area and that I may experience problems with my Internet connection from 8:30 to 4 pm.
The call is much appreciated as I work from home!

My brother got a call from this number on his cell while sleeping. When he called back, the call was re-directed to Shaw's Call Center in Malaysia and he was charged International Call from Fido. I am pretty sure this is not legal. If Shaw re-direct the call to another country, shouldn't Shaw be paying the international charge?
