I looked it up on the web, and the number is registered with Synovate. They continue calling and leave no message.

I got a call from  (604) 664-2442 too that too after 9 PM yesterday. I did not pick up and they did not leave a message. WE should continue posting such SPAMMERS numbers on the web so they are discouraged. I know NO LAW works for them  tried all possible things like register here and there,, they don't care..

i got a call from this number today repeatedly phoning and hanging up, i called it back and got an answering machine with the name bonnie fisher on the other end of it. i say if the calls continue for anyone else contact the police after asking them to stop and report them.

i recieved that call to.....they said worksafe bc wanted to do some kind of questionair about my experiances with them and they just wanted my oppinion...I said no.....scammers

Got a call from them. They didn't leave a message. B.C. Canada area code. This CRTC Do Not Call list is useless.

I have had numerous missed calls from 604 664 2442...no message...always between 8-9pm which is extra irritating because it is little people bedtime at our house! STOP CALLING or if you need something, LEAVE A MESSAGE! Annoying

Apparently I just called our credit union as the person on the other end of the line said that they'd got our number from our credit union - this was Synovate calling to do a customer satisfaction survey...  Don't remember giving permission to give out our number to people like that with the CU... annoyed!!!

This is the third time they have called.  There is always a pause and then someone comes on.  I have no idea how they got my name, but am VERY irked.  I tried to call them back but that got an answering machine.  If they call again I am turning it over to the police.

PIck up the call and tell them that you want to be on their ALL of their DO NOT CALL LIST, and actually listening to the speal (if you hang up they are not obligated to complete the request). It generally takes about a month for it to be completed. I used to work for Synovate and when I worked there (like 6-7 years ago) that was the protocol. Rmemeber although the calls are annoying they are people to, just trying to survive. Thanks!

Husband took call purporting to be calling on behalf of my bank.  Seems they are not who they say they are.  Beware !

I called the no back and let it ring about 20 times and someone just answered hello with no company ID.I told them to remove my no. they said ok but I registered the complaint with National do not call list. I know people have to work but it may force them to get something more worthwhile to work for rather than working for the supposedly scummy people who run these companies

I work for synovate vancouver, out of the Vancouver call center we call for Kal Tire, Envision Financial, Credit Union MasterCard Rogers Wireless, HydroOne(formerly Ontario Hydro) and some other companys, we are NEVER selling anything and a sales call will not result from completing a usually short survey. I understand it is annoying, I used to work on the phones, it was the worst job in the world, I was doing it to pay for school. If you really do not want to do the survey, just tell us politely, we are not going to push you into doing it, it will just make our day that much Nicer. Besides, if you hangup when we are halfway through the introduction we are just going to call you back anyway.

When people hang up while you're talking, you just call back? What kind of a strategy is that? Now that the person you're calling knows what you're calling for and that they don't want to talk to you, they certainly won't pick up and do your survey the second time you call. Or are you admitting that you call back to deliberately annoy people who hung up on you? Nice!

what are you people, friggin' stupid? When someone hangs up on you, it means they don't want to talk to you and to call them back is harrassment. I am so fed up with telemarketers, surveyors and scammers. It is now to the point where I can't answer my own phone. Both hubby and I work at home and these calls are constant interruptions.

I don't really care if they are people too! It's MY FRIGGIN phone!! And I don't want them calling me, nor do the majority of people they call. If you don't like to take [***] from people  get a different job!

I will just hang back up anyway.  kinda fun

Synovate has been calling me for few days. I never picked up the phone. Then they switched to using 604-664-2442 which showed no name in caller id. They called late at night. Bad practice.

Idiotic conversation, I asked (without telling who i am) what's this regarding? She said, her supervisor has the details and supervisor wants to talk to...
I asked why she called the number if she doesn't have the 'details'?
She said if this person is there then supervisor wants to give details.
[this went on for few seconds]
I told her to remove my number and never call this number again. So next day, I got call from them again and all she was saying on phone was 'hello.......hello.....hello.....hello'.
Hope this post contributes to negative publicity for this company and their practice.

I received a phone call from 604-664-8448 (Synovate) onThursday, February 17, 2011.  The call was made to 403-612-7172.  My phone numberS are on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST.....Why are you still calling my phone numbers.  Please do not call my  phone numbers again.  Thank you.
