Caller ID says its from Synovate Western. on Google, it is a global marker research company, so it's possibly a marketing company. Correct me if i am wrong.

Unsolisited Call, I did not answer.  Usually this type of unsolicited call around dinner time are scam telemarketers.

Synovate Western called first night asking for a Brandon "Smith".
I told him there is no Brandon "Smith" here. Can I help you  ?
The man says who are you ? I told him I was his Mom. First of all
He's calling my number . Not Brandons number. There is no Brandon there
And I want to find out who he is calling my phone sounding so serious
and asking for this person. And won't explain himself.
He then asks me if I am Brandon? I responded do I sound like a Brandon and then told him not to call me again,

You guessed it the same guy calls asks for Brandon. I said whatever you are a telemarketer or an agency of any type that I do not want him to call my number again or I would report you for harassment.
He assured me he wasn't any of the above that he couldn't tell me why he was calling and said it was a sensitive matter. I've done s fair amount of research on the Internet I'm about 95 % sure they are a collection agency with a bad lead.

It's a marketing, survey company.  Does polls on different issues and products and services
