CBV Collections phoned looking for my former roommate.

Total idiots who can't get it right- harrass me because previous owner of the number owes money. Working hard at making a case qagainst them- i could use the money ;)

I received a cryptic phone message from 1-604-687-4559 asking me to call 1-866-387-8758. When I called it was with regard to an upaid Telus land line account for some one who used to own my phone number. When I shared my name and house address along with phone number they agreed it was an error and would remove me from their call list.

Got several calls from 778 329 0347 and 604 687 4559.  Both of these say they're calling about an important business matter.  The message repeats 2 or 3 times and the line goes dead.  Calling them back gets no answer.  These numbers appear to belong to CBV Collection Services Ltd in Calgary and also in Vancouver their TOLL FREE  number is 1-888-311-1121.  I haven't been able to get anyone to answer this line yet.  They ask you to leave a message and then hang up.  The annoying thing is that I don't have any outstanding debts.  The next step is my lawyer and the Better Business Bureau.

CONFIRMED:  778 329 0347 and 604 687 4559 are for CBV Collection Services Ltd.  They can be reached at the 604 687 4559 number.  I just got off a call with them and they were looking for someone else. (last name LAW)

When I told them that I had never heard of that person and that I have lived at this address and had my phone number for well over 5 years, they said that they would remove my number from the system.

We'll see what happens.

i received a call from them too probably around 120 x's I did owe $$ but i made a settlement payment and paid it.
still get the calls any advice what I can do?? They guaranteed me that the calls would end after I paid the debt. I am almost ready to go on antidepresants due to the harrassment.

At least 2X a day I receive a call from 687-4559.  Usually it is a taped message "This is an important message" or I answer and the phone is dead.
This is very annoying to say the least.
