- CallieKuczek| 9 repliesThis number just called me this morning at 11:28. My caller ID read Vermillion, South Dakota. When I answered, it was one of those medical alert system scams. I pressed 1 to speak with a "representative". I immediately set up the Dr. Phil soundboard and had her talk to the soundboard instead of a real person. She immediately hung up.

- Fran Ingram replies to CallieKuczek| 7 repliesThis place calls me DAILY. I always hit "5" so they will leave me alone, but the calls continue. I am contemplating changing my phone number (seriously), this harassment is that bad! My caller ID reads "Senior Assist". This is worse than a zillion calls I get about "bladder sling surgery involving mesh" - and I've never had that surgery, and there is no "mesh" anywhere in my body. I am truly sick of it.. (I think phone calls are on my nerves anyway with election calls too)...
- Trash TalkerBy not answering or telling them not to call you or you are on do not call list not going to stop this scam calls. My way is always try to get them on line and let them talk. Without paying attention to their talk my question to man is what is his rate to have sex in his rear and to woman what is her rate to have sex with her. Their ultimate goal is to get your credit card number and info so they can make charges on your credit card and ROB you or credit card issuer bank. They are Low Life so give as much trash you can. I always write notes on 800 note for all this scam caller ID I see on my phone. Most of the time I am not home so I do not get fun to talk to them.

- Sr. Citiz.Caller ID says "senior assist." I don't need their generous assistance, thank you very much.
- pat replies to CallieKuczekjust swear at them
- SapphireGood old medical alert people calling here again, pressing 5 to be removed from their do not call list has not helped. So, today I pressed one to speak to a live person. I asked AC to stop calling my home and that pressing 5 to be reomoved wasn't helping. I thanked him and hung up.

- raycall received 10/22 @1:10. Caller ID shows as "Senior Assist" . They left a recorded message about senior medical alert. Haven't had a call from them in a month, so I guess they are starting back
- Alexis| 1 replyI got a robocall from this number. I waited for a human. As soon as I got one I asked to speak with a supervisor. As soon as I did they hung up. When I tried calling the number back all I could get was a recorded message that tells me to press 1 if I want to be placed on a do not call list. (I have been on the national do not call list since it existed.) It is impossible to reach a human being through this number, and it is impossible to find any physical address for this company or any website for it.

- Carolyn replies to Fran IngramI'm not an authority on this, but a commenter wrote on another robo-call complaint, changing phone numbers won't help. The computer runs numbers from 0-9, random phone numbers are generated, and the calls placed. People have even gotten these calls on their cellphones. Also, any time you buy an item online, Google a product/service, that information is retained, then sold to businesses as prospective customers. We need a law that no company, business, vendor, can sell the information of their customers without explicit permission. That would cut down on some of the calls, but I don't see them going away completely. As long as there are crooks in the world, they will be trolling for victims to con. The scams vary, I believe the elderly, immigrants, are their prime targets. The elderly don't realize they're being conned, often don't report it, and immigrants don't realize what is happening to them wither. I've been on the DNC list for years, it hasn't helped. I hope my answer has helped, I wish I could do more to stop these vermin. They drive me nuts too. That's why I'm thankful for caller ID.
- gcI messed with them Senior Assist they give you the equipment then charge a very high price to maintain the monthly service of at least $50 a month. I let the guy go thur his whole talk and then he asked how many I wanted I said 3 then I asked the company name then where they were located and he hung up. I told him my name was Jerry Lewis. don't give them any true info make it all up and tell them the call has been recorded that's gets them everytime.

- Susan| 1 replyMy mother received a call 10-22-14 between 4:30 and 5:00 pm - someone claiming to be her grandson saying he had a bad cold and that he was in Canada in jail for open container violation --- she asked to speak with his "attorney" - The first caller hung up and a second call came in from this number claiming to be his attorney - in summary, he told my mother that her grandson only wanted to get out early and that it would not hurt him to just stay in for the rest of his sentence. We don't have the number of the first call because we used *69 to get last number that called her. These folks need to be strung up!

- paige brooksTonight a call came in from the above number. My grandson answered the telephone and decided to do a prank call on this telemarketer since they had called numerous times and never left a message. It was a foreigner that was calling stating that he was selling Senior Assist Alerts. He went thru his entire speech describing what it was and how it works. My grandson ask some prank questions and told the caller he had been pranked and hung up. Immediately the telephone rang back and I answered. The first thing out of the foreigner's mouth was him calling me a b_ _ _ _h and stating that my husband would not get by with doing a prank call on him. . When I tried to respond back to him he stated "you will not get by with this. I am sending an entire squad out to take care of you and your MF husband and that we better sleep with one eye open." I agree my grandson should not have done the prank but I do not like threating calls and think this should be dealt with immediately!!!
I have called the number back and placed my number on a do not call list but could not talk with anyone.- Call type: Telemarketer
- RonniNot only do they call daily - sometimes more than once a day - but they use many different phone numbers. What good is the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY

- Chris replies to Fran Ingram| 1 replyI bought an inexpensive Panasonic Telephone from Amazon. You can manually block up to 150 telephone numbers. I've had mine for a couple of months and it's helped quite a bit.
- fraudhunterSCAMMERS. After reading all of the comments from others even if there was a legitimate company and service being offered no sane person would do business with anyone who conducts themselves in this manner and never, ever over the telephone.
P.S. 800notes.com still doesn't list a Call Type of SCAMMER. That in itself is very odd.- Caller: SENIOR ASSIST
- KenI just swear at them and call them names
