No message - just hung up so I blocked the number

The usual.  A call from a number I don't know, only ID'd as Aberdeen SD.  I don't answer phone calls from people I don't know.  Obviously it was a scammer because they didn't leave a message.  It it was something who was a friend or who needed to talk to me, they would have left a message.

I wish 800notes had a call type "scam" or "con artist"  These are probably people who wish to do identity theft.

Said they were from the IRS and that the IRS was preparing a lawsuit against me and I should call back.  I don't owe the IRS and I have always filed a tax return.

Left a message. Said the IRS is filing a lawsuit and they want me to call them right away.  Oh panic!  Oh no! Another crooked scammer.  Blocked.

Back to back calls from an Aberdeen, SD caller, 605-252-5680, advising me of the following:
And your tax filings from the headquarters which will get expired in next 24 working hours and once again expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are four serious allegations pressed on you name at this moment we would request you to et back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you the number to reach us is 605-252-5680, I repeat 605-252-5680.  Thank you.
I still can't stop laughing at the phrasing of this...scammers...LOL....  I wonder if the phone company can liable for any crimes committed by these people, since they are using that particular company...
