i keep getting calls from this number!!  who is it?

These people aparently are the ones that has been sending us magazines that we didn't order and now they are trying to collect money on them.  They refused to give the name of the company.  They claimed they have our checking account numer and that they were glad that our conversation was being recorded.  I told them that if they continue to send us magazines we didn't order then we would continue to not pay for them and continue to throw them in the trash as soon as they arrive.

This sound completely illegitimate.  Avoid buisiness with these people.

Received a Call from this Number today on my cellphone.  It went to my voicemail and they left no number.  I did receive magazines that I had never order in the mail so this sounds like a scam.  I will avoid answering this number as should others, sounds like they are trying to get you to pay for stuff you have not even authorized to send to you SCAM.

I got a call from them last night posing as a "satisfaction follow-up" call from Discount Magazine. I told them I didn't order any magazines and wanted off the list. They said they were being charged to my credit card (which they had the last 4 digits of!) and sent to an old address, but I had to call a different number to unsubscribe. I called that number and it is a call-for-phone-sex number. I tried calling them back and this other guy answered and immediately hung up on me. I called my credit card company and they said that no charges had been made to my card. I don't know what they are trying to pull but I think they need to be arrested.

If they told you they are recording you then you should get a lawyer to sue them they cant reocrd you over the phone.

I got a call claiming of was being charged 58 something for magazines that I nascent ordered and he could drop the price to 38.85.he said the only easy I could cancel was to pay the 38 and get their service number after the 7 questions.once I had already agreed to pay the 38 and was waiting for the service number I was disconnected. Canceled my card and reported it stolen.avoid angering this call our they will soak you for 38 per month for 30 months-over $1000!

Received a call from them this morning.. saying they are giving away 2 return tickets to multiple destinations and they have my visa card on the account. they will be charging $41.95 per month for 24 months. He also said that they are giving a discount of 5$ and will be charging $35.95..totalling upto $862..and these are for magazines that they have sent for the last 2 years and their company paid for the last 2 years and they are trying to charge now..... which i NEVER subscribed to and these magazines came in mail once in a blue moon...

I even asked him ..do they have an online website where i can verify my subscription and he said they do not have it.. and they had a 30 day period where we were supposed to call back and cancel it..all this in Jan 2009....and apparently mentioned they tried to reach me and they were not able to reach me on phone ... they assumed that i needed the subscription and went ahead.

this is a scam... he was trying to record me and was asking for authorization for the monthly payment and trying to confuse me with word play... ensure that these people does not rob you...

Just found out they have charged my card 35$ ... even when i told them to cancel everything they have on file and did not provide any authorization....
