- JennIt's First Premier Credit Card Company. I have an account with them. My card stays paid, but they never quit calling about trying to get me to sign up for credit card protection services that I don't want. They have been told no, and won't quit calling, so I blocked their number. Problem solved.

- Matt| 1 replyThis same number 605-333-6200 calls me several times a day, and every time I answer it they immediately hang up after I say, "Hello." They wait until I speak, and then hang up immediately. Every time I try to call them back I always get a busy signal. I want to let them go on like this for as long as they want to, because I have been working with a close friend in local law enforcement on this ongoing problem. I have reported them for harassment, and there is an investigation going on with that good friend of mine. I have all of my phone records to prove it, even official software on my phone that shows which party hung up first! The judge is going to be impressed. I'm gonna get 'em real good!

- Don't Really Matter Much| 1 replyWow! This has just started going on, the last couple of days. And yes, I am a holder of a First Premier Bank credit card. My bill stays paid up, as well. The girl actually gave her name and company last night. Due to it being late (9:00ish), I hung up on her.
- Caller: First Premier Bank
- Don't Really Matter Much replies to Don't Really Matter MuchThis is a little unnerving since it has definitely happened before to others. Makes me wonder if it isn't a hacker of sorts. I have never had a phone call with this company unless I, personally initiated it.
- David replies to AnonymI had the exact same phone call and same experience.

- bigmuny| 3 repliesMy God...I have calls all the time from people I don't know on my cellphone and I don't answer calls from phone numbers I don't know and if there is a number I *67, then I don't answer Private calls or call from unknown. Most of the time I let it just ring but then sometimes I answer and if it is a bill collector I tell them I am filing Bankruptcy..even from sales calls. I don't know how they get my number but I am sure it is from and old list of someone who has either had it before me or it is just a cold call list of numbers in a specific area code where they just go down the list calling and trying to sell to whomever is there.
- IrritatedI have been getting blocked calls for days like 3-4x a say that say nothing. Now im getting this number who also says nothing!! I do not have premier card...annoying
- Paul W replies to Anonym| 2 repliesI do not like First Premiere or there collection practices but... they are righjt to not let your wife (or any woman on the phone claiming to be your wife) have even the info as to who they are or what they're call ing about - Federal Privacy and Collection regulatons.
- Carefulsuz replies to bigmuny| 2 repliesJust a word to the wise.. As a bank employee, when someone tells us they are Going to file for Bankruptsey, their acount is coded as such. This in turn gets reported to Credit reporting agencies, because the account is coded as such. So if you really are not planning in seaking protection from crditors under the Bankrupsey protection Law, do not cry wolf and say you are. It will only hurt you. Bank employees are required to note what is said by a consumer by law. The intention od bankrupsey is coded, therefore reflects on a credit repoert. Do not say what you do not mean in this regard. It will hurt you.
- Badge714 replies to CarefulsuzWhat bank hired you? A persons credit report WILL NOT show "I'm thinking about filing for bankruptcy" (notice how it is spelled?). Your credit report is updated AFTER the fact. Imagine if a bank put a negative comment on your report because "Well, I saw him in the bank yesterday, & if he took out a loan I don't think he could pay it back". Ever heard of Due Process?
- Elspeth replies to CarefulsuzWRONG - I've worked in financial institutions and we have NEVER had a code for someone saying they were going to file bankruptcy. There would be a note added to the account AFTER the fact if they did, indeed, go through with bankruptcy, and it would state which type. Bank employees are NOT required to "note what is said by a consumer by law" - where the heck did you pull that one from?
