I want to stop calls to my phone from this number

I get anywhere from 3 to 6 calls a day from GE money. They are out of hand, I'm not even late on any on my GE accounts but still get the calls. Granite, I had a tough time about a year or so ago when my business collapsed, but got caught up and have stayed ahead. They never leave a message, and they call from various phone numbers. I started answering the phone and hanging up right away. They call back within 30 seconds. I answer and hang up again. Something has to be done, are there law that prohibts this type of behavior from a company. I believe I will look into it and let you guys know.

They have called here 4-5 times a day and sometimes back to back.

I've never even heard of these people. Never give this cell number out, actually, and haven't had a loan or outstanding credit card balance in about 15 years.  I've had this number for six months, and apparently the person who had it before me didn't pay their bills, so now I get all these annoying calls. I finally convinced the previous collections agency that I wasn't the Helen whatever they wanted, and they stopped calling. A week later, these idiots start! I never answer my cell phone anymore. The same thing happened with my home phone--they want some doctor named Keith Jeffords (not me!) and I've had the number for almost FIVE years! These autodialers should be illegal. The collections companies do NOWHERE NEAR enough checking to make sure they're calling the right person.

I get 2 to 4 calls from them every day.  They are GE Care Credit.  I am under the no interest for 6 months plan.  I wasn't even 10 days late, I had not even received my bill yet, and they started calling me.  I tried talking to them, the guy didn't speak a word of English and demanded that I pay 2 months worth over the phone.  He wanted my checking account info over the phone.  I DON'T THINK SO! I now have them blocked.  The even called me 5 times on Memorial Day.  My advice, get rid of them as soon as you can.

i keep getting calls from the number and the first time it called my cell and i happen to answer it but there was no response on the other line.  next thing i know this number calls any time of the day, any time of the week.

These idiots call me 8-10 times a day and I have no associated credit cards with GE Money. I have AT&T cell service and set up Smart Limits which allows me to block these morons. Fixed the issue.

Having worked for awhile for GE Money I do know a bit about their dealings, yes they are crooked but then all financial institutions are. Considering tonight they called me 6 times in the matter of an hour and a half I'm going to consult a lawyer. It's harrassment and I'm not putting up with it anymore. This has been going on for a week. I don't even bother looking at my phone anymore when people call because I already know it's them and no one that I care about.

I have nothing. NO  THING! to do with them!! and they won't stop calling my cell phone!! I'm about to change my number. Will that stop them from calling?

Follow up to this original message--If I Google Keith Jeffords, the doctor that various debt collectors want to talk to (but choose to harass me instead), I see that Dr. Keith Jeffords is listed numerous times--LinkedIn, Facebook, several domains containing keithjeffords or drkeithjeffords or other variants of the name. Surely debt collectors could hire a couple of interns to do the same thing to find these people instead of just programming an autodialer to harass people who have had the misfortune of inheriting these deadbeats' numbers.

Received calls from 605-355-5648 didn't answer because i don't recognize number. Obviously from prior complaints they are harassing people!

Automated voice knowing my name wants me to press one. calls me 3-4 times a day. Also associated with 605-355-5648. I started getting callled by this number after I ignored the text messages described here: I started to receive phone calls after I was receiving phishing text messages claiming to be VISA with a fraud alert. I confirmed this with VISA that this was a fraud trying to steal my identity.

GE MONEY where you apply for a card with through a store, Vet Hospital, Dental, etc... they are looking for there payment(s)...

The only way to stop these calls is to pay up or file bankruptcy.  They are relentless.

(CareCredit) I made arrangements with them because one week my husband's check was not deposited on time(it was about a week late) and they said they noted it my account that I was going to pay as soon as the check deposited on the date that his work gave us. They still call countless times a day and when I pick up, there is no one on the line. Its getting quite annoying.
