Claiming to be from Kentucky State police.  This number is a scam and have reported it to the police.

This number called on 7/13 @ 12:09 pm didn't pick up didn't recoqnize. Glad I checked it says it is a  fundraiser for children and has you follow prompts. I don't believe it.

My office assistant received a call from this number and after telling them we didn't want to contribute to the KSP she was hung up on.  I called them back and got the voicemail of a young girl.  The problem here is that there is software you can get for your phone to cause ANY number you want to appear on the other person's caller ID.  I don't think this girl made the call or has any idea her number is being used.   Either that or she's too stupid to block her number when she commits phone fraud.

Received a call from this number two days in a row. Answered yesterday and the person on the other end "appeared" to know me as they called me by my first name then disconnected call. Shows up on caller id as local area call. Will not answer future calls from this number.

Been gettin phone calls from this number for 3 days. The name says Local area call and says its a childrens fundraiser. I'm sick of getting these calls. They come early, and i work nights, and this is getting very old very fast. I hope the scammers get caught !

This number claimed to be the Kentucky State police, and told me that my mother made a large donation. The number is a scam, it sounded very fishy, and they pronounced my last name wrong.

A number of calls from this number made to my home. Being a senior citizen getting to the phone presents a safety issue, and it is enhanced by receiving such call.

As a citizen I don't believe I should be subjected to such harrassment and someone or some agency should have the power to stop such.

With big money being involved I seriously doubt that my request will be considered.

Get a cordless phone.  Not a cell phone, a cordless land line.  Plug in the base station near your bed.  A cordless phone needs both a phone line and an electric outlet.  

Charge the phone at night.  During the day carry the handset in your pocket. That will stop the race to the phone.  It will also let you call 911 if you fall far from the phone.
