call me twice today. each time left a 3 second silent voice message. Now blocked.

Said they were with the IRS, that an affidavit was filed against me.  That I owed on my taxes for 2010-2015 in the amount of over $6,000.  Told me badge number, said were recording the conversation, anything I said could be used against me in a court.  Said name was Jack Lawrence, but his voice accent indicated he was from some country like India.

Caller left official-sounding pre-recorded voicemail saying I was being sued by the IRS and instructed me to call back for more information.  I thought it was real so I called.  A man with a very thick indian accent asked me if I wanted to know about the lawsuit.  I could hear hundreds of people in the background also with thick foreign accents.  I asked what office he was in and he hung up the phone.

Obvious IRS scam.  They left a recorded message saying "the IRS has a law sweet against me" (yes, they said sweet)

Left messages saying that it was an official call from the IRS and that I have been sue by the IRS department and have an warrant for my arrest. I knew it was a scam because I have no issues with the IRS. Beware: (606)462-1383
