"Hi, this is Sarah calling about your credit card,................"

I am a very sick person and I am tired of receiving all these NON SENSE CALLS. They say this is a private Number.

This location and number is a new one on me.  If I don't recognize the number or person calling I do not answer.  Callbots don't leave messages so if you check your messages there's usually nothing there.  No name of the caller, just location of Moorhead, KY.

Scammers. Answer and press 1, then place the phone on mute and wait for the scammer to repeatedly say "Hello, hello..." Do not hang up immediately after the scammer disconnects so you can tie up their lines and help prevent them from scamming a few less decent elderly victims out of the their life savings that day.

I answer and it just goes "click" like they are checking if I answer.  I only answered because we are having furniture delivered today and I certainly didn't want to miss a call about that!  Does anyone know why it would just click?  Is this a robo call testing who answers?

I received a call from 606-755-0236.  Caller id said 'Card Services'.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know.  I searched for the number and found this page.  Man, I wish something definitive could be done about these scammers.

They keep calling.  I am on the do not call list.

Just got a call from that number.  A "VM" was left about lowering my interest rate to 6.99%.  Suspicious: I had just left "pch.com." Huhm?!

Caller I'd came up as "private caller" with this number. I did not recognize the number and let it go to VM. No message left, but. I thought that. I would look it up and I'm so glad that I did

just got a call from this number (1-606-755-0236), I did not answer it as I have been getting way to many calls from area codes not known to me. My problem is I run a business from my home and have to decide if these are out of area business calls or not.

Since most of my out of area business comes over the internet now, I no longer answer unknown area code calls like this, further, I have found the phone company tone that plays when a phone number is out of service, this is called a SIT tone. I have recorded this on to my voice mail with a 5 second pause then a message.

My friends and family have been informed of this so they realize if they call and I don't pick up right away, my phone has not been disconnected.

The telemarketers hear this tone and don't wait for the 5 seconds for my message to play, they just assume the number is no longer in service and take it off their call list.

Google SIT tone (or use the link below), download it and put this on your voice mail, it works far better then waiting and pressing a number to be taken off the telemarketers contact list, you know they don't actually take you off the list when you press that number right? Use the SIT tone, it works, it does convince them to remove you from their list.

"Hi, this is Sarah..." of course, Sarah (the robo-voice) wants me to cut my interest payment on my credit card by staying on the line. AND, for the tenth time this month, this is my FINAL notice! Sarah must have gotten her info wrong....if she had REALLY been my best bud or something, she would already know that I don't even OWN a credit card. And, as another poster suggested, you can forget punching a certain number to have them take you off their calling list - you will receive another FINAL notice, soon. I'm on the updated nationwide "do not call" list, and, I keep turning them in for calling me, and that even seems to be a joke, now.

So Rachel Has changed her name to Sarah as well as her number, Interesting! All of them know how to circumvent the FTC.

Tell them you don't have a credit card because you pay everything in cash.

Received call from 606-755-0236.  Caller I.D. shows "private caller".  Silly robo callers, I never answer a "PRIVATE CALLER" I.D. on my phone.  Just gets put into my block list.

WHEN IS 800notes GOING TO LET US CHOOSE "SCAMMER" as the call type?  I have to leave it as "unknown"

Asked about the company name and she hung up. Called back again, got the same woman, she hung up again.
Called again and talked to "Linda", hang up. Called again and talked to "Lisa". Stated that the name of the company is "Credit Card Services, located 422 Tabernacle, Suite 605, Moorehead KY (fictitious). They positions themselves as credit card debt assistance, where they contact your credit card company to negotiate a lower interest rate.
I gave them hell, calling consistently from a couple of phones for about 15 minutes. I talked to all 4 of the operators, and the supervisor. Then they started hanging up, then letting it go to hold but I was relentless. The supervisor answered while saying something about "breaking somebody's legs", then said that he didn't know where they were, lol! Anyway lots of fun. FYI - did not run into any foreign accents, this appears to be domestic..

RCVD 9:50 A.M. on 7/23/14. Evidently those Card Services bleeps again. The FCC should shut these jerks down for good.

Received call.  Asked them who they were.  Answer was unintelligible but they wanted to know something about my credit cards.  By the way, don't waste your time submitting complaints to www.numberinvestigator.com.  I entered their captcha about 8 times and they kept responding that it is incorrect.  Probably why the number I was reporting had no complaints.  I think www.numberinvestigator.com is a scam site, be careful.

Saw the number pop up on my cell and didn't recognize, didn't answer and they left no messsage.

Got the call yesterday. Reported it to the (useless) FTC today. Asked the FTC if they would put their donuts down long enough to start fining these people. Imagine the amount of money they could get if they weren't so damn lazy?

The Call Type is "SCAMMER". NOT Unknown, Debt Collector, Event Reminder, Fax Machine, Non-profit organization, Political Call, Prank Call, SMS, Survey, or Telemarketer. It's "SCAMMER". Put it on your damn list! "SCAMMER"!
