I googled microsoft tech support and got this guru aid. He said he was microsoft support. This is not microsoft! He wanted top take control of my computer. I told him I would only deal with microsoft and hung up. He calls back!!! I told hom I would only deal with microsoft direct and hung up. In my opinion don't get caught up with these people.

I delt with them and they worked on my laptop. Now it is dead won't even boot to safe mode. Don't deal with them. all they want is the money.

I did get a phone call from that number.Did not answer.
It was probably from yesterday when somoene tried to charge my brother 269.00
for there so called services.They were saying that is computer was full of problems.
Lies after lies just to get money from consumers who don't know anything about  computers.
They probably insert problems in the computers  themself just to cause you more problems
and suck up more money from you.The best thing is not to accept services from somoene
you just don't know.My brother did and it almost was desastrous.He allow them not knowing that they
would get in is computer and ask him to insert a credit card number or a debit card number.
His wife entered a debit number.Bad idear Iknow.I took the phone line and told them that there
services was not needed and they did not like that and told me that I was not helping my brother
and did not know what I was talking about.I warned them that either they stop what they were doing
or I would report them.They got really mad.I did not care.I passed the phone line to my brother and
they told him that I was rude.Don't matter they stopped.But where waiting if they withdraw money from there banking account.I truly hope not.Well this is an experience.Personaly if someone calls and say that they wan't access to my computer in order to fix it as they say,they simply won't.If  I really have problems
and only when I have verified with microsoft company directly and have comfirm there phone number
by verifying trough emailing them to there own site support which will show there contact info.
Then and only then will I trust a company who is renound for it's services.

They won't stop calling my cell phone every since I contacted GuruAid about my computer.  I have an account with GuruAid.  This is not one of GuruAid's phone numbers and they said they do not contact a customer, the customer must contact them.

I made the mistake answering the phone the first time, but no one spoke when I answered.  Since then I have been getting numerous calls every day.

I'll already reported these [***] to the FBI, they are a bunch of scam artist and stalkers. I hope the law takes action.

I got a call from guru saying they were working for microsoft to handle computer problems. I said I don't want your service and hung up. The next day they called again. I told them again No and don't call me back.

I called regarding a problem with Windows Movie Maker. He "explained" something to me that was totally unnecessary. I thanked him for his "help" and said good bye. He then "remembered" that there is a $100 fine. THIS WAS TOTAL [***]. I am 15 and they keep calling me now.

I also got a call from this number and they left no message. Let's see if they call tomorrow.

Needed help with my computer tried too update windows "statement stated my security blocked it" went on line for help from AVG Paid version. They transferred me over to the 606 834 1033 number said they needed to have control of my computer after he finished my computer had no sound and other issues. Called an real AVG tech said they do not use remote computer but have an service they recommend for $190.00 one year. I screamed No at her. Then said for free she would send me an email to follow on and send it back to them I was afraid he got into my personal accounts I yelp out loud.
I am now on an different computer changed my online bank account password hope that will help if anything does go wrong I think it's AVG. They have all of these different sites to go to for tech support the one guy I talked to sounded like an Australian and transferred me to the 606 834 1033 number he sounded like he was from India wrote it down when he took over my computer cause he had to call me back it was so noisy in the back ground. Told AVG do not auto an payment when the 2 years is up. I also am going to call FBI today on the phone number

I dialed 1 (888) 520 9623 thinking it was Google, when I read it was support I hung up since that was not what I needed. A person from 606 834 1033 called back and tells me his tech support. When I told him I had a issue with credit card and did not think he could help, he put me on hold briefly than came back and told me he could help me and needed to remotely get into my computer. I told him not comfortable with that, since he kept on insisting and reassuring(or so he thought) me, I politely thanked him and hung up. He called back again and said did not know what happened, but did not think my issue was fixed. He asked me what was wrong with my computer, I told him nothing is wrong with my computer and have a good evening. Did not call back. I did not feel comfortable at all with the whole situation. Maybe legit, however their behavior makes you feel otherwise. Perhaps they work on commissions, which would explain their urgency.

He called tonight mid-eastern accent said someone called about computer service I told him no one called and hung up.

I have been getting repeated calls from this company. I have read the messages so knew that I should ignore
their calls. What I have started doing is when I identify this number through caller ID, I activate the call but
then immediately terminate the call. Logically this should send a clear message to them that I know who they
are but do not want to take their call. Guess what...it does'nt work. Don't you think that if I continually tried
to contact someone but that person did not take my call I would get the message.

We keep getting calls from this number. He wants to "help" me with my computer.  My husband did talk to him some months ago and the fellow was going to charge him $200.  I have told this person not tocall my number again, but he persists.  how can I get rid of this.

My daughter was complaining her computer was running very very slow; so I searched for Norton SYmantec on my phone web browser and the first thing that pops up is an ad for NORTON Symantec tech support and in small letters GURUaid.com.  I press the button thinking Im going to be speaking with someone from Norton and instead I get this independent computer company.   They immediately asked to take control of my computer and the next thing I know they are say oh god there are so many things wrong with my daughters computer it will cost 399.99 to fix it. Holy Crap Im a single mom on a single income with rent due on the fifth; so they lowered it to 269.99 well geez forget that...well how about 169.99.  Okay well then they go through the process for like nearly 8 hours doing god knows what to my computer.  Finally get it working and they call back in an hour to see how things are going; I hang up and the computer goes haywire again.  I finally find the REAL NORTON SYMANTEC number and call them.  It took them like 5 minutes and the tech asked if he could give me some advice...he said in his indian speak that in the future I should avoid this company!  Well I called the other company back and got furious with them and I wanted my money back...I was screaming at them! I finally got the guy to say well Ms so and so since I can tell from your voice that you are unhappy with the services of our company I will reverse the charges.  Damn straight you will reverse those charges!  I just checked my bank account and yes I have my money in there; however, now they wont stop calling me!  DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT LET GURUAID.COM WORK ON YOUR COMPUTER!

I use guru aid and they are great.  They're very good at rescuing computers from viruses.

This number keeps calling for months now but I never answer.

dont answer this phone call, they are ripping people off. they want your account, computer pass words and all sort of demands. they persistent and  will try to bergain with you in regards to price. hang up and call the FBI.

I've called 3 diff numbers for my avast and while on phone with 1-877-571-5083 this number beeps In.

They are Indian people that like to control your computer. he wanted me to pay him. >:(
