I originally got calls from 585-283-7013. Who claims calls from IRS. I asked if I can call him back. He gave this number 607 216-8884. They are Big Time Scammers, They are targeting the person who got debt with IRS, ESPECIALLY new immigrants. They threaten their targets with arrests and deportations. Several of them have Indian/ Pakistani accents but mine had European accent, similar to Russian/ Polish kind.. Please file complaint!!

Got called this morning threatening my parents

Just got a call from a guy of Pakistani/Indian Heavy Accent said his name is William Austin (IRS) Tel. No. 607-216-8884 threatening to bring a few Police concerning my IRS Account to arrest me for not coming to see him at his offce.

They called me and left a message from IRS and I called them bk, So they say that I owe taxes and that if I don't pay them 5000+ dollars, IRS will come and arrest me in an hr & I'll have to pay 25000 + 5 yrs in prison and will loose all my assets, including bank account. So I told him to come and that I'll wait, so he said ThankYou and cut the phone

I also got a call about 10 mins ago.  The guys sounds with Indian accent and he wants my wife to call 607-216-8884 too.  

Same here.  My family just got the same call. Probably targeted BC they are indians.  Said they would send the police to the house.

He called our landline and left a message for my husband that he has to return his (Indian accent) call 607-216-8884. He said to disregard his msg and just call him at once because there was a big issue on the IRS, if not paid by depositing $3,800 a police officer will arrest him before the day ends. Beware, he is a SCAMMER!!!

My wife got a threatening phone call from this mumber too this morning.

BEWARE of an "Indian" accent voice to call you with a name, "WILLIAM AUSTIN" pretending to be from IRS.  We have reported them to the police for investigation, they are actually outside the US!!!! soon they will know these bad group of syndicate and will hunt them.  

Just got a call five mins. ago with heavy Indian/Pakistani accent saying that they are from the IRS about discrepancy. He used the name Matt Wilson. The number was suspicious and call out of protocol of IRS.

Same here..left threatening msg. Claimed his name is Robert Wilson, from IRS and to return call at 607 216 8884. That a..hole changes name to Robert Wilson now!

left message in our phone, from Alex Brown, IRS, IRS dept., 607-216-8884, addressed to my wife, asking her to call back immediately because IRS has received allegation against her, is time sensitive, must not disregard this message because this is time-sensitive, must call back immediately. Knowing that IRS has other things to do than calling us, we never responded nor plan to. Willing to do our part to help get these scammers out of business soon!

I got a call too from an Indian accented person saying he, Allan Parker, was from the IRS.  I knew it was phony from the start since I used to be an IRS agent and that is not what you say when you call someone up with tax issues.  I laughed and laughed.

Just got a call from 607 216-8884 claiming he is with IRS ( the guy had a very heavy accent). I asked him since when  IRS call rather than mailing a letter. He wanted to know my name, I just laughed and hang-up the phone. Did a Google search on that  number, and with all these messages had to  laugh again!
Hoping all these feedback would prevent these guys from scamming some one.

Same. Received call this morning from 607-216-8884. Accent too thick to understand. "IRS, extremely time sensitive, don't try to disregard this call, re: an income discrepancy, call back as soon as possible." And the kicker: "thank you and take care."

I also just got a msg from "Alex Brown" with such a heavy accent i could barely understand him, that he was from the IRS and that my tax return is in review??? He did know my name which was a bit scary and I am to immediately call him back...right... like that's gonna happen.  there were 12 phone calls from him today according to my call history.

I had a similar call previously they left a message threataning me that this is the IRS and if donot call and resolve this matter their will be legal action taken. I googled the number and  and called the real IRS suspecting that this was a scam.
The IRS advised me that they were investingating this scam.
Today i get a call from the 1 607 216 8884 number and they were leaving me a message again that this was the IRS and if i did not resolve my debt they will take a legal action and this time while he was leaving a recorded message which sounded a little computerised to me i picked up the phone and told him that i knew he was a scammer and i have informed the IRS and they are investigating him and all he said is OK and hung up.  

Scammy [***] called at 8 am today. left msg by William Austin who sound like he's still in india saying he is with the IRS and I need to call back. Have my free voip account setup to call this number back all day.

I got several phone calls from this number 607-216-8884.  He says his name his Jensen carter and wants me or my attorney to call him.   Heavy accent definitely a scam artist.   Beware. I reported him to the IRS
