Xcel Energy calling for the account owner.  Since I rent, they dont want to talk to me.  I have no clue what it's about i think we are current on the bill.

makes sense that it would be excel.  why from new york?  that I don't understand.

Called left no message.  Xcel Energy bill is paid.

They just called me, left no message so I'm not sure who it is or what they want.   My Xcel bill is paid so perhaps it's trying to sell me something.

Multiple calls, no messages when I let it go to voice mail, no talking only the sound of person on other end, and I have no accounts with excel or any of its subsidiaries. Starting to piss me off.

Called today, no message but I've had calls from this number or type of area before going on and off for many months - all stating Xcel.  Some of them have left an automated message with a reference/collection acct number but no reference to what the call is specifically about other than "an urgent message"              

I have called the number seeking to speak with someone and I get a recorded message.
They have called back under a PRIVATE number.

I have spoken to a live person and asked them why they are calling and what it is in regards to as I myself do not own an Xcel acct under my name. They insist they needed to know the name of the person they were speaking with before they could go any further in the conversation.                  

We do not live in an area where Xcel would be our provider.  I have told them to not call again but they don't stop. The number on the phone is not listed directly in my name but the acct holder is in good standing for all financial obligations.

I can only assume that the company is fishing for information for collection purposes for acct's not related to Xcel energy.  We are not overdue on our electric. It has always been paid on time.

did not answer the phone because I knew it would some dumb collecter or telemarketer

Got a call from this number and they left a message saying they needed to talk yo me concerning my Xcel energy account.  Red flag went up when they said they were trying to contact me under my maiden name.  I called Xcel energy under a numbed that i had from my bill and they had no records of trying to contact me and they dis not have my maiden name on my account.  Just thought it was weird.

I got 2 calls today and they left no message. Every now and then we get a call from this number and we don't know why.
