Rec'd call May 8.  No message.  A search showed the number from Cherry Valley, New York.  I'm in FL.

Someone called me from this number on May 9. Said to press 1 to lower my credit-card interest rates. I pressed 1 just tp ask them to remove me from their list. They hung up on me.

Just received this phone call the other day (May 8) and left no message.

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list  is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

Have the balls to leave a message, scum sucking scammers I'd like to spit on.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

robo call scam said I paid my bills so much I deserve a better interest rate etc.

These crooks called, I answered. It was damn Interest rate crooks again. Options: press 1 to talk to a rep, press 3 to receive no further calls. I pressed 3. Big Mistake. 2 hours later = call from same crooks using a spoofed number from same state.
Don't answer or press any numbers. No matter what, they keep calling. This spoofing of caller ID name and number is a game changer. You can't trust anyone on the phone anymore. How do you know even legit numbers aren't spoofed by crooks to get your info. The Gov is failing to protect us from crime and leaving the phone system unusable for real business. They tap everyone's phone and now wanna be able to hack our computers too. Yet do nothing of what they are supposed to do. Fire every last one of them. And stop voting the crooked congressmen back in.

WTF? The FCC must be getting paid off. Make some new laws!

Annoying , and tired of phone calls, plus phone unlisted do to these darn calls.

Hate these daily calls from criminals, I screen all calls on my landline and never pick up the phone.  

I am also tired of receiving calls from this number and all other numbers everyday. I screen my calls also and delete any messages that are left by these dumb a****

These people called twice and left no message. I'm sure than were scammers . I suggest if caught they should be shot and the survivors shot again  !!!

How do I know I can trust you, it seems you can't trust anyone today. We report and here nothing,    ???????????????
