They called saying they are going to have me a arrested for a pay day loan through cash net.they are threating my friend saying they are goin to put a hold on her social security number bc she consigned for the pay day loan which she didn't.and they want me to pay 483.00 to them or I am bein arrested.

Same thing here... of which I have not taken one out since 2010, and was included in a bk.  I provided my Attorney information... they are crooks, theives.

They called on June 12, 2013 and said they were going to file a complaint with the DA's office for not paying a loan back.

I just got the same call today about the same thing. They are crooks and just wanna steal your information.

Received a phone call at my job from an Amy Fox saying that she was with Check Systems and that a judgement had been placed against me for activity on a closed bank account associated with a pay day loan from October 2011.  
I had to close my bank account then because of fraudulent activity and I thought that this was associated with this but the more I listened, the more I realized it was a scam.  She was asking questions that she would have known the answers to if she was calling from a legit collections agency.  She started talking about bing in contact with the Allegheny County Sheriff and that they would come to my job between 1 and 3 pm to serve and/or arrest me.
Just then, my cell phone rings with a 412 number - come to find out it was them spoof calling me from the Sherrif's department - only way I knew it was a joke is because I could hear the same radio music playing in the background on both lines!  DUMB!

Please be aware that these are scammers and they are becoming more and more sophisticated because of advanced technology.  They can change the number that shows up on a caller ID and/or pose as a law enforcement agency.

DO NOT give any personal information on the phone.  Ask them for things like the name of the DA in charge of your case, your docket number - all of which is public record information.  They will become irate and hang up, because they know you know they are a scam.

Write down the number that shows up on your caller ID and google it immediately!  You will know its a scam.

They just called said it was check systems and that I was going to be served with a summons, the bit-h's name is AMY Fox, she said I need to pay it or they were going to take me to court.I googled the number they are CROOKS, DONT PAY DONT TALK HANG UP, THESE PEOPLE SPEAK PERFECT ENGLISH THATS WHAT FOOLS YOU.

I've had this same this happen....they called me today. Telling me there still is time if I want to settle this out of court. I'm being told by several people that legit companies do not run business this way. Makes sense I've never even received anything through the mail. It's just super annoying

They are going to have the sheriff come to my job or my home to arrest me, for some bull [***] I know nothing about.  So I call the sheriff office this morning n they said they don't have anything and they been getting a lot of these calls, but one thing I do know is that she playing with life.  So Amy if I did owe money you can pay it. You scamming the hell out people but I'm not the dumb one you are [***].  Please get your life together.  You about to face jail time.

I have just received the same call.  They told me they are going to levy my bank accounts and garnish my wages.  I have never had a payday loan and when I type in Loans.com it comes up with Bank of America which I called and I called the old account info from my US bank account it was supposedly put into and both Banks think it is a scam, they actually told me to put the phone number into a search engine and see what comes up.  I go this site.  I work at Consumer Credit Counseling and know there are a few step that have to be taken in order for a garnishment or a levying of bank accounts.  When I corrected them they told me they were going to have to escalate things because I was being argumentative.  I have now put in a police report with my local police agencies and made a fraud alert on my credit reports.  I suggest you all do the same.

Hi Everyone!  I've been getting calls from the same number, so far it's only went to voicemail with no message left that I can find.
I'm curious, did any of you ever have a loan through those crooks?  I had a loan through cashnet.com, I paid it off but they claim I still owe them money. I've blocked their original number back awhile ago but now they've started calling from that number too! Guess I'll just block that number too!

I've been receiving calls about a student loan forgiveness. This last time I answered spoke to someone named Kyle and the first thing he asked me for was my social security number. I said I don't feel comfortable giving my social security number out over the phone. He says well I'll send my background check to your email right now and you can check it..I told him DON'T BOTHER!  I knew it was a scam.

Called this number back... pressed 9 they added me to a do not call list

Received a call from this number, did not answer. Likely scam about Student Loan Forgiveness as I get 3-4 calls a day from various numbers about this. Some leave VM some don't. This one did not.

This company continues to call and text me harassing me over student loans. I am almost 71 years old I have not attended any college. My daughter has even told them to stop harassing me before she contacts her lawyer and sues them. Please make them stop calling me. Thank you

Got a call around 1pm. Caller ID said "Corland, NY", I'm in California. I picked up, said "Yes". Silence, and then they hanged up.
