The also call from 607-529-9906. Scam

Received call telling me they were calling "because of computer you are using! We are calling to report from the GLOBAL NETWORK SERVER that your computer is presently downloading trojan and viruses as we speak!!!"  .... "BUT  we can "HELP" you!!   Just go to your computer and turn it on now and we will instruct you how to fix this dangerous problem........" the ever so nice man with the Indian accent said.  Whew,  I didn't know there was such "helpful" people out there calling me!!   ahem!!    S C A M M E R   be gone!!  Pox on your house!!!

they called me telling me that they had a warrent for my arrest, and that that i need to verify my address so they can come arrest me. LMAO!! I asked who they were, and where they were located. they said they were in florida. i asked the address and he said 100 Main st. (wow...dumb ass) so then, i proceeded to ask him what part of florida, then he hung up on me. They have left a number of voice mails, from different numbers threatening to arrest me.Oh, and i also asked him what for, and he said that i had did something wrong regarding my bank account...-_- i dont even have one.....

The only part of the call I understood, was that they were calling to let me know my computer was sending error msg's to a company i had never heard (nor could I understand the name of the company) of.  after that I could not understand a word that was said, I could tell he had a very thick Indian accent.

They called this morning saying that they were from Microsoft Technical Support and wanted to inform me that someone was trying to hack into my computer.  They asked me to turn on my computer and they would correct the problem.  I told them I would call them back and the caller said "just a minute."  The phone line went dead.  When I called them back, the phone was "not in service."

The call hangs up with an automated "thank you" after about 5 seconds. Same call received from 516-746-9347 (CID reads Garden City, Ny)

Recieved unsolicited call from this number with a polite and patient sounding woman warning "that their server showed a large number of reports from my PC with Microsoft errors".
Guided me to run a logbook on the PC which showed errors and warnings OK.
But when the operator asked me to log in on LogMeIn Inc. and asked for name and address I got suspicious and the call ended by the girl hanging up.

This number showed up on my call display yesterday at 6:30pm, was not home otherwise would have answered to listen to the BS just for fun and screw with them for a bit. Special place in hell for scammers!

The Call me in Sweden in my companie

I received a call this morning from 1-607-756-9642 and they insisted they were from Microsoft Tech and they needed me to go into my computer so they could fix "unseen" virus's that were attacking it.  When I refused she kept getting mad...I told her I would have my computer guy check it out & she kept saying she was Microsoft Tech and they were warning all window users and needed to fix it over the phone.  Then I just hung up.

Why can't we block this type of calls 1-607-756-9642

A Travis Williams from Insta PC Care said that Microsoft has informed his company that my PC has been sending out error messages to Microsoft and he wanted to start a Service Level Agreement (SLA) so that they can fix my PC.

He could not tell me the exact problem my computer is having.

He said his website is www.instapccare.com and phone number is +1-866-682-0649 (Seattle, Washington). However, www.instapccare.com shows +1-800-500-4460-0 (why the extra 0 at the end)?  The caller id is 607-756-9642.  I insisted that he was not calling me from Seattle Washington and he insisted the caller id is just a code, not a phone number.

I stopped taking to him.

I got a call around noon from this number saying that i got a grant from the goverment of $7,000. that among other things i needed to deposit $225 so i could get the money. Please don't fall for it. they gave me a number to call as well. 202-470-6766.

Oh my this is funny. Googles number while on phone with gentleman with Indian accent. He kept saying my computer I was using was sending error messages to a network somewhere. So I played along and he kept insisting I was having a computer problem. I told him I'm sorry I have had no error warnings on my computer. He said its coming from my computer as we speak, he said aren't you mr. ******* (my real name creepy). I said yes, he said well your computer in your house has been sending error messages. I got tired of talking to him and said that's impossible, because I live in a rural area on a farm and we don't have Internet service out here. He then said are you sure ? Umm yes I am lol. And then told him and besides me and my wife's laptop we use for work are both Macs. He then promptly hung up

Indian accent caller from some financial investing company. He said this was not a commercial call They called twice.

I just got a call from them and said "Hello?" After about 10 seconds I heard a loud beep and a automated voice say "Goodbye."
I'm really confused as to what it was all about...
