Live in Louisiana and keep getting calls from this number.  No message but lots of calls.  It's my cell and it's also on the national Do Not Call list but that seems not to matter as evidenced by the dozens of posts from people on the list getting annoying calls.  All I know is caller ID says Madison Wisconsin.

Student Loan Collection company

Keep getting a call from this number on my cell phone, never leave a message. Then they called my work desk number and tried to ask for me by name but are totally butchering my name... who are you? Leave a message, and stop calling my place of employment

It's a student loan company called Great Lakes. I know because I get a call daily from them because my loan is in default and no matter what i tell them they STILL want all $8,000.00 right now.

Got a call on my cell on this number about a week ago. They were looking for someone else who either used to have this number or who gave them a false number, I'm not sure. The woman was very rude and accusatory when I said that I not only was not the person she was looking for, but that I had no idea who said person was either. I finally said not to call again and that I would report the number next time.

I'm up to date with my student loan payments.  This used to be the company that handled them, but no longer is.
