These people call and left a massage on my job voice mail. Saying they are from law Enforcement and what give any Information about this call. Please do something about this.

The told me they were a Law Office and I was involved in a "criminal lawsuit." When I finally got to the nitty gritty of it, apparently it was about some supposedly bill collector account of mine from the past that was "lost and/or stolen" that they had. When I asked for proof, they hung up. Tried to call back and they made some excuse that I was not the person they wanted and then hung up on me again. My suggestion when they try this scare tactic again, ask for the proof to be sent to you and see what happens. Then tell them you are recording them and that you will let your attorney know about their tactics to collect on a debt that was "written off."  If anyone can get the company's name, please post so I can let my attorney know.

They called me saying I was going to get arrested from my house.is this illegal can I get a attorney.

Received a nasty message from this number....Name given was Mark Slater....and I was pretty much treatened to either return the call or have my attorney call back....He said if I didnt call back that whatever unfolded would be my problem....and he also ended the call with Goodbye and Goodluck!!!!!

I also received a message saying this exact stuff specified as the other complaints. When I called back I said I will not be threatened and they hung up. I then called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and they again hung up. Just ignore them. Im calling my phone company to have them blocked today. Its ridiculous, but yes this is an illegal form of collecting a debt.

They called me on Friday saying that I was being arrested for non-payment of a payday loan I never received. I had my mother call back to get some information for our attorney, they could not provide any information to her and they were very rude. Called my local courthouse and they had no record of any arrest warrants, so I called this "company" back and requested my case numbers and he told me to have my lawyer call back and speak with them. This is definitely a SCAM!!!!!!!

These people called me saying I was having criminal charges placed on me for a bad check that I never wrote. They said they were from a law firm wouldn't say what law firm. I called a lawyer, they are off shore so they cant be sued they bought your information from a debt you owe.

Indian scammers pretending to be something they could never be - honest.

I requested auto rates online and somehow this number called me 6 times and didn't listen the first time when I told them I didn't want to be contacted on the phone.  The guy when he called the 6th time said, then why did you request the rates?  And then hung up.  If they are an auto insurance co, they do not seem reputable.

I also filled out a rate request online for car insurance last night and got 4 calls from this number withi. 5 minutes this morning I don't answer unless I know who is calling. They did not leave a message.

They called me trying to sell insurance.
But i see other posts saying something about criminal charges.
So what's up with that ????

I got called from this number today, it is no longer the law office as mentioned earlier. Now it's a company trying to help you find the lowest auto insurance rate.

They just called me twice. And like Renee said, they say they are trying to help you find lower car insurance. I can do that on my own. I told them, forget it.

I got this call at 8 am this morning, I never requested any rates online and I told them so! but some how they got my number ..  The call came up from Alantic city NJ

They have called me 5 times in the last hour.  They claim I requested car insurance rates online.  I said 3 years ago and to stop calling me.  That last 20 minutes.  Scumbags!

Same issue here; went online to get car insurance quote.and this number started calling me.  Very rude indian person that I told after 4th phone call not to call me again.   Since then, I've received 11 phone calls in a matter of 3 hours.  I answer phone now and get my dogs barking into it for him!

submitted for free auto insurance quotes online and next day morning my phone started ringing, they called like 6 times in 30 min. I usually dont pick my phone if i dont know who is calling , they didnt leave a voice mail. i am glad that i read this post and go to know this is a stupid call

I asked for auto quote online this morning and since then these guys keep on calling. Called back at same number and there is a pre recorded msg. Does anyone know how to make them stop calling

Same as everyone else.. Within a 3 hours I revieved 8 calls from 609-225-5517. What's the NATIONAL DNC LIST for????  Think this is the source of the problem in this country.. It happens to everyone and nothing is ever done about it......   Same company changing their number every day.....  Government has do something about it or this will continue.. Our RIGHT TO QUIET ENJOYMENT has been taken away from us....
